The team member Elizabeth was there to help me and my 2 kiddos , she was very friendly and happy to help ! One thing I appreciated most was her attentiveness to my kids drinks she asked if I wanted kids temp and no one has asked me that so it was a nice touch to great service! I got a iced strawberry matcha drink and it was very good ! Just wanted to write a good review because it’s not that often that someone actually enjoys what they do and give such good customer service especially with my kids , she anticipated every need and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves! ☺️
One thing my 6 year old noted and commented on was “why is she all by herself “ lol which I thought was cute because my kiddo noticed that but also unfortunate because what is she going to do if she had to take a break ? Lol all jokes aside management should think better about leaving only 1 employee on shift because it’s not feasible for breaks and lunches . Idk ? 🤷🏻♀️

I ordered a Salted Caramel Foam Cold Brew — a drink I’ve had hundreds of times, so I know exactly how it should look. This store gave me a coffee with no foam layer at all. When I asked about it, the barista said the foam had already sunk. But I received the drink just seconds after she finished making it — how could it sink that fast ? (see pics)
She insisted she made it correctly. I tried to explain that the drink typically has a thick layer of foam that doesn’t sink that quickly, but she gave me attitude as if I was being ridiculous — that the foam was there, and it had already sunk. She then offered to remake it, but what I got was essentially a cold brew with cream poured straight from a container.
Just don’t come to this store.

Denise has made my caramel ribbon crunch Frappuccino with affagado shots to perfection on my last 2 visits. She was very nice to talk to. Also, there is a wide selection of Starbucks cups, tumblers, and accessories.
Parking: Inside Safeway. There is plenty of parking in the shopping center.
I went to the Starbuck inside the Safeway today 12/27/2022 at 8:00Am .

I got in line and waited to see the cashier. At this time there was only 1 girl working at the station and behind me was 2 women. They looked like customers. She wore a sweater and short pants and carried a bumbag.
It's finally my turn and said to the cashier that I was there last night but there was no starbucks employee working. I asked the safeway employee if I can purchase 2 tumblers at full price and return it the following day to get the holiday discount, which is 30%off and couple stars, to redeem a free cup.
The safeway employee told me she had an idea: which is to put the tumblers underneath the shelf, inside the bottom cabinet and to return tomorrow and tell the starbucks employee that it was saved for me.
Well, I came back the next day and told the starbucks employee what I was doing, which was grab the cups from the cabinet and she said ok. Anyways, I don't think she understood what I was doing, even after I told her and she said yes. She ran after me to take the tumblers like I was doing something shady.
The woman dressed like a civilian behind me came up to me and told me what I was doing was wrong because the cabinet is for starbucks business only. Only employees can access it.
I told her it wasn't my idea it was a safeway employee that told me to put it there and to grab it when starbucks was open.
The woman refused to listen to any reason and accused me of doing something very shady. And all for 2 cups. She then told the cashier to call the starbucks store manager because she didn't believe me. She wanted to confirm it wasn't reserved for anyone else.
After the call the cashier told me to come back tomorrow and see a manager.
That would mean I would have to return to this place for 3 days in a row for 2 cups. Such a waste of my time and energy.
The woman or safeway manager finally accepted to sell it to me but only after treating me like a criminal.
I told her. The way you're talking to me , letting me wait and call the starbuck store manager to confirm 2 tumblers was a mess . You treat me like im stealing or a thief in your store. I'm not stupid to do this right in the front of your guys eyes and also the idea was not my mine. If I want to hide , I hide somewhere else in the Safeway, not in the starbuck area , and then get yelled at like this.
The woman told me with a strong voice. " You think what you think. I'm the Safeway store manager and I have a right and power to tell the cashier to stop selling you the 2 tumblers"
I was getting so tired on my 1st day of myperiod . I have to try to come back early in the morning , in the raining day so cold ,windy. To receive the demeaning talk from the starbucks employee and safeway employee.
I'm a customer , I didn't beg them to give me anything for free, but they treat me like trash. I can purchase the full amount , come back and return and buy again to get the good deal like how they do it at Target . I didn't do it , because I was naive, and first time purchasing and thinking about returning to Safeway , and I listened to the advice from a safeway employee who I met the night of 12/26.
They drag me down so much. I can't forget what they did to me , treating me in front of other customers like that. Like a thief.. We are human , and just celebrated a holiday with family and friends on Christmas . Also This week is a holiday week , the month at the end of the year . I thought everyone would be happy . Meet and say with the other people you meet with a smile and say hi I wish you a happy new year something like that . Can not imagine they are like the devil and treating people like low levels and they are on top . Manager starbuck , manager safeway store. I don't respect the position , or level you are. I'm impressed most by people with a kind heart and how they treat other people around them .

The hot latte tasted only like hot milk that was left out all day-- maybe a few drips of coffee. Quality of milk, coffee beans, and the machines are drastically different from a stage alone Starbucks (this is a Starbucks in a Safeway).

I ordered a venti white mocha and nothing to do with it, I asked for a double smoke bacon and they had... I ordered the one with turkey and cheddar and in the end, after waiting and waiting, they told me that they didn't have it. I was about to leave my coffee but I decided to grab it, right in I try my way and horrible.... I will not return.

Nice cute Starbucks inside Safeway on ElCamino Real and Maria Ave in Sunnyvale.Heather the Barista sure knows how to make the best drinks, I tried the Dragon fruit drink and the Strawberry fusion drink and it was totally Awesome ! I highly recommend this Starbucks !
