Placed an online order for pickup at 1:50, arrived and asked about order and the guy said the order doesn’t exist. Insisted I made the order for another taco truck even though the email and order number says Tacos Buenrostro and this exact address. Even after seeing proof of purchase he refused to help or make my food, I don’t recommend solely based on customer service.

Very good comments and everything, but the truth is I ordered a Cuban cake and I was very disappointed by the chicken milanesa that was not even pre-cooked because it was barely enough and they even added it with feathers.
Don't get the nachos. It's processed cheese with COLD shredded cheese. ? Also there was no meat in it.
Everything else has been good.

Recommended this place to eat. It is one of the best food trucks in the area.. good food, especially the quesabirria and tacos, all very delicious and the service is excellent, the guys are very friendly..I am not a person to make comments about the places I go but in this case it deserves my opinion and my comment... the truth is 5✨️ for this place....??
These guys were having Cinco De Mayo special -- Buy 2 Tacos Get 1 Free. I ordered 6 and got 3 Free. They used different meats for the Free ones. The meats looks different and smelt really bad and it looks like they were using expired meat. They didn't bother putting onions and cilantro on the free ones either. The paid tacos that I ordered were super dry and had some odor, too. I had food poisoning right after eating their food. I had diarrhea and threw up twice with bad stomach ache. Also these guys rip you off on the churros. One order is consist of 3 churros and they go for $10.50. They changed me for 2 orders and only put 1 order. I only found out when I got home. They will try to confuse you on the pricing and act like they have language barrier. You cannot order just one individual churro. Their price is really inflated and expensive. I swear you could be dining in at a nice restaurant with the prices they're charging. On top of that, they charging service fees. What the hell? This is a food truck and fast food quality foods at most. Their menu doesn't show pricing so you will only find out right after you paid when you get the receipt. Shady practice of business. Also, check your statement because they overcharged me. I will not be coming back because of the shady way they practice their business, low quality foods and super expensive pricing -- on top of that, I got sick from eating their food. The city of San Jose needs to send a food inspector to check their kitchen and foods. They are only here to rip-off high school kids. The food truck right across the street and the taqueria are better alternative than these guys.Update: These guys were serving meats that were infected with E-Coli. I'm looking at possibly talking with my attorney for a case.

These tacos reminds of Chicago tacos, full of flavor. I stumbled on this gem and I'm so happy I did.

Great spot to eat after coming down from Sierra Vista Point. A great selection of food and the owner is super attentive to how everything is and if you're enjoying the food. Right now, they have a separate menu for food for lent, which I think is very thoughtful. It is in a parking lot, so parking is easy, and getting into and out is fairly easy as well. They have a canopy and tables/chairs so you can eat there. Right now, it is a bit chilly still with the wind but no biggie.

For a taco truck next to a gas station 👌. I’ve been here a few times and gotten Al pastor, cabeza, carne asada, and Campechano tacos. Not saying the others aren’t good but get Al pastor for sure.
Al pastors on a spit, so you get the slow roasted and quick crispy texture from the plancha.
Cabeza, was nice and soft. Carne asada, tasted ok due to the meat being a little overdone/tough. Campenchana was a beautiful mix and they hit both meats on the plancha so it had a good texture to it.
Look at my photos. They actually do a good job at being dedicated to the plate. Cut with car a designed radish and gives you two good size salsa. Good value spot to grab some quality tacos. A lot better than every other brick and mortar I’ve been to in the South Bay.
