The biggest difference compared to izakayas in Japan? Last call is at 8:30 PM -- way too early! Most izakayas in Japan stay open until midnight or later, so this felt a bit rushed.

That said, overall it was a solid experience, and the bill was lower than I expected for the amount and quality of food. I'll definitely be back -- just a bit earlier next time!

Great service , we would barely look up and the waiter was already heading towards us . 10/10 on service and atmosphere . You also get a lot of food for a low price . Easily shareable plates

We got here at 5:45 PM on 5/13/2025.  We did not have a reservation so we arrived before the opening time of 6:00 PM.  We had no problem of getting a table since there was only a party of 8 before us.  Easy parking.  The restaurant was small.  The food was delicious.  Service was excellent.  The price was fair.  The only thing was that there was a little piece of shell in the soup that I bite into it.

The management and the staff get arrogant and downright rude as popularity rises.

Food is good, but prices have gone up and their menu has changed over the past 5 years, and my favorite dishes are no longer there! :(

The service and environment are very good, and there are relatively few carbohydrates and vegetables on the menu. The beef tongue is delicious and the price/performance ratio is good. The grilled rice balls were surprisingly good, a bit like glutinous rice cakes. The squid rice has a very rich and creamy flavor.

Not sure how this place is so overrated. I visited this place because of its 4.4 star rating, but it turned out to be a disappointment. Mediocre or even below average food. We ordered a couple small plates and none of them were freshly made. Instead, all of them were pre cooked items and heated up either in the oven or maybe microwave. I understand a restaurant needs premade food to accommodate the number of guests, but reheating precooked items are not acceptable. Not going to visit again.

This restaurant is extremely overrated! The food is neither fresh nor flavorful. Today, I ordered two fish dishes, and both were clearly spoiled—tasting like they'd been sitting in the fridge for over a month. The potato gravy and crab were no better; they tasted old, like they were reheated for just a few minutes before serving. Overall, the food is overpriced and unappetizing. Avoid this place!

Authentic Japanese food with some unique selection of sake.

Sushi, sashimi, rolls, fried, pot, pan fried, you have all the options to pick from.

The portion is on the small side. It is ideal to have 4 people so that you could share the varieties of food.

Restaurant is small, so it is a crowded.

Do make reservations ahead of time, the restaurant is a pretty popular spot.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Small restaurant, limited space, but you will be able to roll the wheelchair around.

When we went in, there was actually no wait and few empty tables in front of us, but the thing was there were two servers and both of them did check on us, however did not seat us, we stood around waiting and waiting until finally we had asked one of them again “hey how long is the wait?” Then the server went up to the cashier and then we were allowed to sit, so basically we stood there waiting and there was no service and we could’ve just sat the entire time, but instead we stood and stood and stood
