Thai spoons is not same as it used to be few years ago. Maybe management changed. The food is costly and portion sizes are small. There are much better Thai restaurants in the area like Dusita. Very disappointed.

Ordered Thai ice tea, yellow curry and pad kee mau and both were absolutely delicious. This is my 8th or more time coming here and this place beats the best Thai restaurants in the Bay Area. Family owned business and they keep the food bar high. Highly recommended!

Great curry and great prices. FYI They don't sell alcohol. It didn't matter though the food was great.

I recently discovered Thai Spoons in Sunnyvale, and let me tell you, it's a hidden gem! Their curry dishes transported me straight to the streets of Thailand. The Beef Green Curry was sublime - tender beef, just the right amount of creamy coconut milk, and a perfect balance of fresh Thai basil and spices. The Chicken Red Curry was equally impressive, with juicy chicken, crunchy bell peppers, and a slightly sweet and spicy sauce. The Thai Tea was the perfect accompaniment, refreshing and creamy. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and service is friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, making it a great spot for a date or a quick lunch/dinner. If you're craving authentic Thai flavors, Thai Spoons is a must-visit!

Family owned for decades... They must be doing something right. My frequent diner friend invited me to lunch at his favorite place he's been patronizing for years. Now it will be in my list of preferred Thai restaurants.I had the brown rice and basil chicken - my litmus test for the 1st time at a Thai place. They passed. I should have ordered 4/4 on the spicy scale - 3 didn't do it for me. Next time! And, there will be a next time!

I ate lunch today at Thai Spoons on El Camino across from Toyota Sunnyvale. Basil Chicken was tasty and cooked perfectly. Panang Beef flavor was OK but the beef was very chewy so either Thai Spoons purchases poor quality beef or they overcook it. But it was awful. Too bad.The prices are quire reasonable -- $15 for rice and two entrees. $14 for rice and one entrée. The prices do not include drink but do include tax.Thai Spoons is a family run business for years. The decorum is OK and small. The employees are pleasant but I suppose one of them should have asked how my food was so I could be honest.Free parking in front and back.

Excellent food (and drink) with great flavor. Veggies were perfectly done and very fresh. We had stir fried garlic vegetables and fried rice. Can't wait to come back for curry, soup, noodles, and other goodies. The allergen guide was helpful too. Plan to return soon!

Thai Spoons offers a pleasant dining experience whether you are there to dine in or for takeout. The service is quick and efficient, and the use of fresh veggies ensures each dish has a clean and wholesome taste. While the flavors may not be the most adventurous, Thai Spoons remains a reliable option for familiar Thai food in a warm and welcoming setting. This is a good go-to local spot that I hope continues to serve the community for years to come!

We came in for a pre-Valentine's Day meal. The food and portion size was good, we thought the price was slightly higher than what we received. If things get really busy, you need to do some self water fill ups and other item retrieval. If you pay with cash, there is a discount. I thought medium spice level was a good solid standard spice. Enjoy!Vegetarian options: Many items noted for vegan/vegetarianDietary restrictions: They have an allergy menu linked in the menu.Parking: Shared with a mini strip mall.Kid-friendliness: There are items on the menu that cater two kids.Wheelchair accessibility: All the tables can have the chairs removed, so you can roll up a wheelchair.

This lovely cozy Thai restaurant  is a go-to spot for my regular quick dinners. The food is delicious and flavorful, with the satay chicken perfectly grilled, retaining a juicy interior. The pad Thai and eggplant with egg are consistently solid and remain among my favorites.

Absolutely delicious and cozy, attractive space. Also great for anyone who has dietary restrictions. I am gluten free and there was a QR code for a pdf allergen guide. There were lots of options for me. I got the red curry with chicken and it was scrumptious to the last bite. The staff was friendly and helpful.Dietary restrictions: Great for gluten free

Thai rolls were great appreciate them being crispy even with takeout. Satay was standard, Pad kee mao was a bit salty still tasty and curry was decent. Generous portions and fast service so I would probably come again and try something else when I’m in the area.
