Third time here over nearly a decade. Burger is solid with excellent fries. Cocktails were very nice and there are some creative options not just standards. Service was attentive.

Terrible service and food not all that
British inspired, the atmosphere is great to gather with friends and enjoy pub food.

It was nice, the food was great and I loved the atmosphere. However, made a red for 9pm (they close at 10). As soon as we got there they were talking about last call, etc. seemed like they didn't want to be there. Saw them turn several parties away around 9:25-9:30. We left just before 10, felt like they wanted to walk out at 10pm. I am guessing there was not an owner present. They shouldn't accept reservations past 8:00 or 8:30 if that is the attitude about closing. I will go back, but not on the later side. PS for some reason this res had my wife's name and my number, so while this review says it is by Jennifer, it is actually Robert.
I stumbled in on a Monday after the gym, embarrassingly, because the atmosphere is fairly posh. I mean that in a good way. The wait staff seated me and my guest graciously in spite of our attire, I'll doll up next time I swear! Of the seasonal cocktails I chose the 24 Carat Gold, it was sweet and smoky. You may be delighted to know that while they have British pub staples like Shepherd's Pie, a good portion of the menu is Indian influenced with fragrant seasoning.

Wonderful vintage English themed decorations. Really rad resturent, great selection of gastro pub food and English classics such as fish and chips but also blends Turkish and Indian dishes such as the lamb flatbread which was excellent. Prices were pretty standard, I reccomend this place

Met a group of work friends here to have a few drinks and enjoy some appetizers. The staff were accommodating, friendly and attentive, and the drinks and food were delicious. Most importantly, It was a fun evening, and so we will likely be back!
As I walked past The Oxford Kitchen and Gastropub, I couldn’t help but notice this sweet couple enjoying their dinner under the soft glow of the patio lights. The woman’s laughter, the warmth between them, and the inviting setting made the whole place feel magical. It’s the kind of spot that naturally brings people closer — perfect for catching up, celebrating, or just enjoying each other’s company. I didn’t eat here this time, but the atmosphere alone makes me want to return and experience it for myself.

I'm sorry to say that The Oxford, which is usually one of my favorites, did not show up well for the 2025 Sunnyvale Restaurant Week. I was delighted to see special menu items for the event. I was disappointed that an event-specific RSVP was required (this was unclear to me and others, though they did let me order from the special menu). The menu was a fixed-price three course meal for $79 each - so my expectations were high. The execution, however, was below the usual Oxford standards. * The hostess seemed thoroughly disinterested. * They were out of all three beers I tried to order, citing an upcoming menu change (poor timing for an event that should highlight the restaurant). * The food was mediocre, and overpriced for the quality. We had the ribeye, lobster gnocchi, crabcakes, and bone marrow. The desserts were delicious. * Nobody asked how our meal was.. though I would've been embarrassed to tell them.
We've been here a few times. The place looks nice, the staff is always friendly, and food is pretty good.
In recent visits, it seems the staff is overworked, and service has started to slip. Yesterday, we ordered four drinks, only 3 arrived, we questioned this straight away, waited patiently, until we flagged down someone else after about 20 minutes, who went and resolved it.
Food arrived, which was good, but I wouldn't call the fish and chips classic British. They looked more like large fish fingers, than a fillet of fried fish. Mushy peas were bright green, and tasted like peas just thrown into a blender.
Towards the end of eating, our waiter came by to check our food came out as expected. That was nice, but clearly late. At no point were we asked if we wanted more drinks (to replace our clearly empty glasses).

1. Food quality has gone downhill from a few years ago. Chips and meat in the burger both tasted old/frozen. Cobb salad was good but most other dishes in our party of five were not
2. Server brought four dishes out for our party of five, and then food for other neighboring tables came out before he checked on us and realized he didn't bring all the dishes out. No apologies just went back in and brought out the fifth dish he had forgotten about.
3. A customer came in with a dog. Two different restaurant employees told them dogs weren't allowed but he just nodded and kept the dog under the table. We are indoors at a restaurant and I really don't appreciate dog fur in my food or the anxiety of watching what the dog is getting into while I am trying to enjoy my meal (and I have a minor allergy to dogs).

Ok but not great. Missed up my food order. Burger when it finally arrived was luke warm. I come from Oxford, and this place is nothing like Oxford. Decent IPA beer though.
