Service was good. Food was kind of greasy, meat tasted kind of weird (beef and pork chile verde) - not sure if it was stale or over marinated. Refried beans and chile relleno were good.We got the combination plates. I got the chicken enchiladas with a beef flauta. My husband got the chile verde enchilada, beef tamale, and chile relleno.

Great food, very attentive service. Had the grilled fish tacos and the steak tacos.Dietary restrictions: Fish tacos for non-meat eaters were very good.

What's special about Tia Juana was that we were welcomed with a smile and both food and service were a killer.Located at the corner of a strip mall, it's a little gem in Sunnyvale and a haven of delicious food and pleasant service. The restaurant was decorated with large mural  paintings with bold colors, embedding a strong element of Mexican culture. The vibe was vivid and affable with clean and comfortable setting. We ordered a combo plate of tostada and enchiladas and a burrito. My Tostada was excellent with crispy tasted carnitas, fresh veggies and various cheeses. I was curious about the white soft crumbling cheese spreaded on Tostada and found out later from web search that it's younger Cotija cheese. The Cotija was mild, unlike pungent Feta, although similar in looks when crumbled. And I really liked it.The combination of everything in Tostada that captivated my taste buds and heart. It was the best version I've had.Enchiladas was full of meat of my choice- shredded beef which was tender, juicy and full of flavors. The corn tortilla, soaked in red chilli sauce added extra layer of savory. I felt like eating home-made meal. The combo plate was large at a reasonable price ($15), totally blew me away with its quality. They charge for salsa and chips and serve Menudo on weekends.Highly recommend Tia Juana and would love to come back.

Very good food, great atmosphere. Deducted one star for hygiene. Our table was smelling due to the cloth used to wipe it & one of the glasses had lipstick mark on

Whenever my wife and I visit Tía Juana Grill, we always have an outstanding experience. The food here is consistently good, and the margaritas are simply amazing. We're always impressed by the solid portions that leave us satisfyingly full. One of the highlights is the ease of parking – there's always plenty of space, which is a big plus. The staff is friendly and multilingual, making every visit welcoming and enjoyable. As for the menu, we highly recommend the Mole, Nachos, and Enchiladas. Each dish is flavorful and well-prepared, truly showcasing the culinary skills of the kitchen. If you're looking for a place with great food, fantastic drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere, Tía Juana Grill is definitely worth a visit!

Really good food chips, salsa and burrito. The button was presented really nice, fancy-like, but it's more on the pricey side. I'd definitely go again.
