Tried to come 3x. Closed, no signs. So very sad. My fears came true after I saw I was the only one or one of less than 4 people total eating lunch buffet. You will be missed, world is too cruel on vegetarian restaurants.

The restaurant is extremely unresponsive. I tried to contact them on their phone line 3-4 times to enquire and place an order for catering for my party. Very poor, they never answered my call either during the day or evening of their operating hours. Its just as a customer I was trying to go to them for catering as I have tasted their good in Pune, India and expected good service amd response. Sorry to say this restaurant does not live upto the standard. My experience earlier has also been bad with them, my order of food delivery torough doordash was also messed up by them. My drinks never came with the food ordered.

I have been regularly visiting them few times a week. They have set menu most of the time. Food quality and taste is superb with unlimited buffet and reasonably pricing.

Reasonably priced and a portion is more than enough for two people . Our sarson ka saag with maki roti was yummy but saag was tad bit oily . Mix veg kadai was delicious with ample vegetables. Sev puri chaat was the best I ever had in Bay Area. Pav baji was ok , not the best . Overall, good experience with service and food here .

Chose VKR for home catering at my brother’s wedding. We wanted to arrange various Indian cuisines over the course of 7 days for our guests (15-25 ppl). I am glad that I was helped by Umesh who is the head chef at VKR. He along with Chef Vijay gave us amazing service and delicious food. Each and every guest enjoyed the food and Umesh helped in accommodating each of our requests every day without complaining. Definitely choose VKR for any of your catering needs. Their Kothimbir vadi and vada are just amazing.

Non tender , hard vegetables used for subji preparation, delivered late by 45 minutes, raita was only soar yogurt with only tomatoes… felt cheated .. only “ Big name” due to Indian hype..

It was an accident find for us as we were looking for Jain food options for my grandfather, and even though it was at a time when they were super occupied with weekend dinner buffet, they accommodated us.
We dined here and since the food was extremely delicious and tasted fresh, we decided to get some jain food packed for our yosemite trip as well, which they were able to make on some advance notice!
The servers and the owners are super nice and friendly- would highly recommend dining here.

We were a group of nine family members and everyone had a very relaxed time enjoying the delicious food some of it served by restaurant staff. The hospitality culture of this place is heartwarming! Their puris are of excellent quality and taste, and are not oily. Patal bhaaji was delicious and unique as a menu item. Cauliflower with gravy was tasty as well. Overall delicious food, nice ambiance, and no rush.
