Reasonably priced and a portion is more than enough for two people . Our sarson ka saag with maki roti was yummy but saag was tad bit oily . Mix veg kadai was delicious with ample vegetables. Sev puri chaat was the best I ever had in Bay Area. Pav baji was ok , not the best . Overall, good experience with service and food here .
Chose VKR for home catering at my brother’s wedding. We wanted to arrange various Indian cuisines over the course of 7 days for our guests (15-25 ppl). I am glad that I was helped by Umesh who is the head chef at VKR. He along with Chef Vijay gave us amazing service and delicious food. Each and every guest enjoyed the food and Umesh helped in accommodating each of our requests every day without complaining. Definitely choose VKR for any of your catering needs. Their Kothimbir vadi and vada are just amazing.
Great food with great people! Highly recommended
Non tender , hard vegetables used for subji preparation, delivered late by 45 minutes, raita was only soar yogurt with only tomatoes… felt cheated .. only “ Big name” due to Indian hype..
Paneer biryani was super bland with no taste at all.
So many vegan items. People are accommodating.
It was an accident find for us as we were looking for Jain food options for my grandfather, and even though it was at a time when they were super occupied with weekend dinner buffet, they accommodated us.
We dined here and since the food was extremely delicious and tasted fresh, we decided to get some jain food packed for our yosemite trip as well, which they were able to make on some advance notice!
The servers and the owners are super nice and friendly- would highly recommend dining here.
So many vegan options and eat as much as you can!
Good food at right price. Love the weekend umlimited buffet lunch n dinner - variety is amazing - from chat to many veggies and multiple desserts.

We visited Vishnuji Ki Rasoi in Sunnyvale, CA, for their weekend buffet. The variety of dishes was decent, showcasing a mix of traditional Indian flavors, but the experience was a bit underwhelming.
We arrived later in the evening, and it seemed like the timing affected the food quality. Some dishes lacked the freshness and bold flavors we were expecting, and a few items appeared to have been sitting out for some time.
A highlight of our visit was the thoughtful gesture of offering paan to each of us at the end, which added a pleasant and refreshing touch to the experience. Additionally, the restaurant is located in a convenient area with ample parking spots available nearby, making it easy to access.
While the ambiance was welcoming and the service fine, the food’s quality during our visit didn’t quite meet expectations. Perhaps an earlier visit could yield a better experience.

The food here used to be very good 2 months ago when we had here. The food smells, atmosphere is unhygienic, there are flies on the salad that’s kept open the whole day. It was a terrible experience.

Save your money. Quality of food is very bad. I used to be so good before but now they are serving tasteless and uncooked food.

What a terrible restaurant with roaches roaming in the restaurant. When we informed the owner about roaches, he suggested that we can pay an leave. Never going back. Please beware.

This review is not about the food but the management(Naresh) who left us stranded for a banquet hall reservation. We had booked the hall and paid an advance of 400. When we visited to finalize the menu 3 days before our event, the owner lied/tried to cover up and asked us to move our date. We then found out that they got a party of 100 people so kicked us out. Completely unprofessional behavior with no remorse. I would NEVER give them any business and I highly recommend everyone to be BEWARE. I would give them negative stars if I could

This is the best Indian vegetarian buffet restaurant in the San Francisco Bay Area! We just had the Diwali brunch at Vishnuji Ki Rasoi today. The dishes are freshly prepared, served hot and refilled regularly. The Pooris and Rotis are served directly to the table. If you decide to go there, ask for Kevin bhaiya and he will take care of you.
