It's EXACTLY what is clearly is...a locally run restaurant serving up classic American food. Forget ridiculous "local bias": I'm not from here and they served me just fine. The burgers are great. Great food in a place that has on old timey feel and very friendly service. Bonus points for a pickup truck in the parking lot with a War Boys logo on the door.
Everytime I make a trip to Susanville for work I make sure to stop by Frosty Mill. So Good!

Frosty Mill is an iconic burger joint that has been a family favorite for generations. This small-town spot serves up delicious burgers, including the massive "World Burger," and mouth-watering sides like Teezers and cheese and jalapeño filled hash brown poppers. The friendly staff and nostalgic atmosphere make up for the worn dining area. With plenty of parking and reasonable prices, Frosty Mill is a must-stop for a tasty meal and a sweet treat, like their perfect chocolate shake. Customers often praise the freshness and flavor of the food, especially the World Burger, which is described as delightful and free from preservatives. While wait times can be longer, the quality makes it worth it. The restaurant is also kid-friendly, offering both indoor and outdoor dining in a clean, rustic setting inspired by Susanville history.
