Everytime my family and I visit Sutter Creek we have to stop by to have some ice cream (from Gunthers) and get a pastry. Cafe is clean and staff is friendly.

Great ambiance and friendly service. Coffee was good with my only complaint (if you can call it that) is the oat milk brand they use is not the creamiest brand (planet oat). Still that is a very minor issue.

I don't live near but everytime I come here the service is great. I love how frothy the chai lattes are, AVA is always so nice and helpful (:

The decoration in the old time store was very nice and authentic. The food was good and we enjoyed ourselves.

This is such a unique coffeehouse! The atmosphere is beautiful and the employees are really kind and welcoming. Their chai is really good and they have really good icecream too!

Great place for a late or cappuccino, friendly servers, and excellent pastry and quiche. Really charming atmosphere. What more could you ask for?

Amazing spot. Got a choc-o-late, apple turnover, and breakfast sandwich. All 3 are just amazing. Really cool inside. Went here because close to my hotel and closer than Starbucks. Better than Starbucks and not more expensive than SB.

stopped by on a Sunday afternoon at 5pm to buy ice cream and they were closed. labor day weekend, it's almost 90 degrees and closed? How do you shop and support local when it's closed at the worst time? Ended up going to 31 Flavors. unfortunate but you have to keep common sense hours for an ice cream shop.

This cute lil place holds a special place in my heart ❤. Traveling back & forth from Nevada to California I ran into this place. Covid hit. I would still walk by. On 1 of those walk by, I me my future fiance... now we have coffee on that special day every year. And introducing Choco Lattes to friends when we trave thru...

Stopped here for a quick refreshing drink.. It was the end of the day and the cafe was quiet.

We were served by Jessica and Annabel. These two are a real asset to the store. Friendly, enthusiastic and full of local information and tips.
It was a pleasure talking to them.

Oh and the double choc ice cream milkshake is highly recommended.

We were in Sutter Creek for a little 1 night getaway with the family. We went in for the first time in the afternoon. The shop was too cute! If I was a local, I'd be in there everyday, find a good little nook to read in while I sip on some coffee! Anyway, we got ice cream for the family, and it was soo good! Everyone loved it! We came back in the morning and grabbed some coffee. The staff were so nice and sweet and very welcoming! Right before we were about to leave town I ran back in. They had the most delicious looking homemade pop tarts. I couldn't leave without bringing one home. It was so good! Everyone loved the town and the shop! We will be back again and will absolutely be stopping back into this cute little coffee/sweet shop!

I rarely write reviews. I am a regular customer and yet during my visit to Choco-latte 2 days ago - my experience was disappointing and I simply cannot let go of the poor service and poor quality of the food I received that day. First of all, They are advertising a "new" Avacado Toast on the menu. I ordered it along with 2 coffees for my friend and me. Upon receiving the 'toast', I looked at it and looked at the server and asked "Where is the avocado?" She replied it was a thin slathering below the topping of a minuscule amount of tomatoes and some feta cheese sprinklings. The toast was so dry it was hard to cut. Seriously? And for $5.00 + tip (which I gave before I was served). Never again. After 10 minutes I had to get up and inquire about our drinks. All of the servers were in the back area chatting together. No drinks appeared. When I asked, our server jumped to attention, and said 'Oh, sorry, I'll get right on it." WHAT?? It's sad when a place like this - which is so popular among locals, gets too full of itself and doesn't care about customer service or quality anymore.
