We had a great time at Element the other night - the food was fantastic, the local wines were perfect pairings. I'll come back for more soon!

Picturesque old town, with a sleek looking restaurant. Food was excellent, as was the service.

Not biker friendly. 45 min wait. Poor service. Drinks came out late and one by one. Small menu and 2 main items were not available. We went for food, but only ended up getting drinks.

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for many years, but it always seemed to be closed when we were in town (we usually are here during the mid-day.) We finally decided to make a special trip just for this place and I'm glad we did.

I was a bit worried to bring a group because the menu seems a bit sparse. I need not have worried, for the food was excellent all around. I had the NY Steak, which was delicious and cooked to perfection. My wife opted for the shrimp and grits which was equally excellent. On the table was also a Spring Pasta and a Comfort Bowl with added chicken. All were delicious.

The service was attentive without being overbearing. We had everything we wanted when we wanted it. The bartender does a great job and the ambiance is very comfortable on the eyes.

I look forward to going back and highly recommend this restaurant.

Vegetarian options: When we went there were at least two vegetarian options. Our group got two of them (though one opted to add chicken.)

Parking: They have their own small parking lot which is very rare in Sutter Creek. There are only about 8 spots if I remember correctly. It's usually not too hard to find street parking nearby.

Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant appears to be wheelchair accessible. The bathroom is on the second floor but they do have a lift (though high chairs (for kids) were being stored on it.)

Even though we arrived shortly before the kitchen closed, we were welcomed very friendly and got a great meal within minutes. Food, service and atmosphere were top notch.

This place is nicely decorated. Located in a really cute old west town of Sutter. The service was great. We got there around 9:50 am. Did not have to wait to be seated. The food was good, but not superb. My Benedict eggs were ok but missed a bit on flavor. The breakfast burrito was dried. Coffee was solid. I would go back to try their lunch and dinner menu. In general good alternative in the area. Some room for improvement, though.

Well-curated American fare in downtown Sutter Creek. The food was exceptional at the price point, phenomenal shrimp and grits. A nice variety of cocktails, service was exceptional and it's in a comfortable space attached to the Hanford House. A little loud for my taste but it was a Saturday night after all. Can't wait to go back.

New owners as of..maybe a year ago? Nevertheless, the food, the atmosphere, and the service are still phenomenal. This is my favorite place for breakfast. And, by the way, they make great Bloody Mary's. When in Sutter Creek this is a must.

Since moving to Nor Cal two years ago, we've sampled a lot of area dining, but Element has just topped the list! The food is a delight to the palate with each dish beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients. The homemade ricotta was a superb, creamy and flavorful, start to the meal. We followed with the light and delicious pasta and perfectly cooked steak. The beignets were the perfect end to our meal—light, fluffy, and just the right touch of sweetness. The only thing I would have preferred is a different choice of music to enhance the ambience. Top 40 (although not loud), is not the right vibe for this place. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-quality food and a memorable dining experience!

The custom drinks were great. The restaurant was clean, with a modern atmosphere. The food was a HUGE disappointment. We had shrimp and grits and brined chicken. Both were flavorless and bland. The waitress was attentive at first but then ignored us, so my husband had to get up from the table to reorder cocktails. The Beignets were dense and reminded us of deep-fried Bisquick.. Overall, it's a real disappointment, especially for the price.

Went for dinner. Had high expectations based on memories of great food pre-Covid, but Element seems to have been closed much of the time since then. Pros: great custom drinks, clean, modern atmosphere. Cons: we had Shrimp and Grits and Brined Chicken. Both relatively flavorless…..blandness bordering on hospital food. Waitress was so engaged washing the front door window she ignored us - I had to get up from table to reorder cocktails. Dessert: Affogato was good, Beignets reminded us of deep fried Bisquick.. Overall a real disappointment, especially for the price.

Excellent meal! Incredible service. Our server, Brianna, was exceptionally attentive and helpful. She took care of us when we asked to move inside (got a little chilly). Food and beverage quality was outstanding. Great vibe here.
