Everyone made us feel at home and the food was outstanding. Great space outside for dining. Jennifer, the host, went out of her way to make us feel welcome.
Great first impression, friendly small town service, great selection of food and beverages, nice e decor and ambiance as well!

Delicious food, some with classic or unique flavors. The staff are local and attentive to your needs. The location of elements is on main street, you can see the local farmers market every Saturday morning from your seat, which is across the street. The inside is crisp and clean, featuring local artwork. Smaller restaurant, so book in advanced. Walk in for take out for the above Hanford House is available. All around recommend!!!
The menu and food were very nicely prepared and presented. The Summer spritzer cocktail was just right. The Service providers were excellent, however I downgraded my review over two pieces of toast. We found that there wasn't enough bread on the mezze for enjoying all the items on the platter, so we asked for more bread, we were provided two more pieces, which was just the right amount, however when getting our check I was shocked we were charged for this bread.. Come on??? First we were not advised we'd be charged and secondly, how ludicrous to charge for two pieces of toast. When I questioned it, the server removed the charge, so thank you to the server for doing that and thank you to management for empowering the server to be able to do that. But Really??? Chef and management, you work so hard on every detail of the cuisine and the guest experience, why risk it all over two pieces of toast?
Well my family was turned away today at 11:45 a.m. for brunch. They were surprised that brunch and at noon rather than like 1:00 or 2:00. The people there were a little bit rude, making my family feel a little unwelcome. But right down the road is the imperial serving brunch until 3:00 on sundays! There's always somebody willing to take your business and smile. I don't think we'll be going back to element.
Element - one of my favorite restaurants for breakfast and dinner! The staff is by far one of the friendliest in all of Amador, and always go above & beyond to make each visit full of good food and laughter. If you haven’t dropped in - you should!
The cocktails are amazing and the wine list is filled with local favorites. I would suggest coming on a Wednesday night where they offer Wine deals, but every day they are open is a good day to go.
Food was slow but freshly made
We had a lovely experience dining here. My husband and I went on a date day to Sutter Creek and stopped by Element for dinner. We sat at the bar and had a great experience. Food and service were exceptional. The fresh ricotta was indeed fresh and the shrimp and grits were heavenly. Loaded with a generous helping of shrimp! The bartender was wonderful, as were all the servers. She chatted with us and the food arrived quickly and hot. She also had some helpful suggestions which I appreciated. Would definitely return while in Sutter Creek!
Came for an early dinner and food was good, price was on the higher end. Falafel (3) were very moist, less crunchy. Burger was good, ans cooked well. Staff was great, amicable and we were quickly seated with no wait time. Clean establishment.

I love this restaurant! This is my favorite place for breakfast in the county. The atmosphere is really great and I love their food, especially the waffle.
First things you take in when you walk in - friendly faces, amazing smells, and tall ceilings with great lighting. Tim's menu is an enticing one, simple yet eloquent, classic with a fun twist. Every item is balanced, full of flavor and seasoned beautifully. Price vs quality is right where it should be. The beverages were delicious as well and were equal to the quality of the food items. You won't find many places that can give you a culinary experience like this for under $100. You will enjoy every bite.
Kind of a mixed bag for us this visit... There were aspects of the meal that were great. Service was prompt and courteous. As for the food, the arancini was excellent and the arrabbiata sauce comforting with just a hint of heat. The shrimp and grits were very good with a generous amount of shrimp on a bed of creamy polenta. My wife's fried chicken sandwich, however, was served burnt, requiring her to remove most the breading. Cocktails were particularly disappointing - very weak and seemingly devoid of alcohol. I ordered a Scotch +2 that was served in a low ball glass filled to the brim with ice chips that couldn't have had more than an ounce of any liquid, mostly mixer. The following morning's breakfast order was placed with the front desk the night before and was wrong when served. We will likely give Element another try down the road. I see a lot of positive reviews, so I'll hope for more attention to detail on our next visit.
We had a great time at Element the other night - the food was fantastic, the local wines were perfect pairings. I'll come back for more soon!
