This review is for their shop on Randolph street. We were in for a tasting and it was abysmal. The lady knew little about the wines, poured TINY tastings and the whole experience was rushed. My sweet boyfriend tipped anyway because he is a really nice person but this was just a complete waste of time. Go elsewhere.

Great cheese! Though not a large selection, I prefer it that way. Some olaces you taste so many varieties your taste buds become numb. We love Sutter Creek and make the drive there every 2-3 months. Especially love the holiday season.

Sutter Creek Wine and Cheese Shop is such a fun place! They offer a huge variety of cheeses which they allow you to taste before purchase. They also have a wine and cheese pairing that is fun - so unique to anything we’ve done before. I highly recommend this fun and tasty experience to anyone traveling to or through Sutter Creek.

Very unique and very tasty cheese selection. They don't have your standard "off the shelf" cheeses like Monterey Jack. There were only maybe 20-30 different kinds of cheeses and the fridge wasn't packed, but what they did have was really good. They did have some diced up for tasting, so you can "try before you buy". If you like cheese, a definite must when in Sutter Creek.

My family and I were excited to go to this shop while in Sutter. Unfortunately we were highly disappointed by the rude staff. They barely spoke to us, handed samples in total silence and generally acted like they were far too good to help us. We overlooked the rudeness and purchased a few cheeses and other food items. All of the cheese was very good!

We happened upon this place on a Sunday before closing. We wanted to sit outside because we had a dog and the owner was accommodating. I think this place is interesting because of the wine and cheese pairing which is unique. I don't think that all cheeses paired well. There were some that were like whoa I can't taste my wine now. The tasting is literally that- just a taste. Not your traditional tasting. I think for that reason I found the cheeses more interesting than the wine.

Great cheese snd wine AND service - friendly and inviting-went around 4 on Saturday and so relaxing - lavender goat cheese and rose - yum - 10 dollars per tasting but waived if you buy 2 bottles of the delicious wine - we will be back!!!!

This place was recommended to us by my mom but was disappointed by the one star reviews saying the owner was rude. I didn't want to judge the place by that alone so we went anyways. This place is so cramped which might not be that bad if he had at least one other person helping him but he didn't so he has a long line and only getting longer because he had to keep walking back and forth from the register to the cheese case which is not right next to each other. What really got me was that he wasn't even wearing a mask. This confirms that he is rude and inconsiderate of others. Will definitely never be going back.

This was the first time we've had a wine and cheese tasting. The cheese portions were small, but enough to enjoy with the wine pairing. You take a sip of the wine first, eat the cheese then sip the wine again. They were all properly paired. We also purchased some cheese to take with us. Other than Gary needing more staff, we had a great experience.
The cheese was great, but unfortunately we did not feel safe. An employee there was wearing a bedazzled mesh mask which would not stop the spread of covid. Due to no consideration for other people's safety I can not give this place a higher rating.

Popped in to Miller Wine tasting room (in the Cheese Shop) in Sutter Creek. Pleasantly surprised at the wine and cheese tasting offer for $10. Delicious wines and cheeses, and excellent information and recipe suggestions from the fun and personable Lara. Received to $10 back when I bought my bottle of wine, their delicious Grenache Blanc. Highly recommend this fun experience!

This is a destination spot for me every time I go on a motorbike ride or drive with my family. They have great wine which my wife enjoys and such a wonderful variety of cheese. Very friendly and they even offer tasting of cheese to so you can sample why their wares are so worth the trip. They even help you pack it cold if you need it. Great service, good cheese...a winner in my book!
