Visited for an early Valentines dinner, an excellent choice. Ambience was great and the service was outstanding. Both of our meals, seafood and steak were delicious.

Wait staff where very good & right on everything considering how busy it was. Defiantly not an intimate place as it's very loud when there are a lot of people in there you can hardly hear each other. Had one problem with a drink but he waitress fixed that right away. The coconut shrimp, side salad, gnocchi with salmon were very good, my husbands steak at first couple bites was excellent but then the the whole center area was basically raw or barely cooked(he didn't say anything to the waitress so his bad).

Something of a mixed bag. The fish was very good, the lamb shank a bit over-salted with a sauce that seemed a bit fatty to me. We sent back one wine glass that wasn't clean, but it was replaced quickly. Service was good. Ambiance very nice. The noise level was very high due to the brick surfaces. I'd suggest serving some warm bread with dinner ( no bread is included).

This is our go to place to eat when we travel to Sutter Creek for a nice day antiquing. Great food and service! The hamburger meat is top quality without being greasy. I enjoyed their onion rings too. I saved half for our dogs, which they loved! They have lots of different hamburgers and other foods. Generously portions and excellent and friendly service!

I have been all over New England and around California in search of the best clam chowder. I have finally found it in our little gem spot in Sutter Creek, Hotel Sutter. The clams were fresh and perfect texture. Not a fishy taste at all. The nice chunky potatoes were perfectly cooked and perfectly porpotioned! Definitely a MUST try before the season is over.
