Being a native of Sylmar, I've been coming here for years. I'm only giving one star for the service because it populates as (I hate it). Today we ordered food for pick up, I checked in with the guy at the register to let him know I was there for a pick up for (my daughter's name). After 20 mins of waiting by the front door I ask about our order he said he called the name out a long time ago. I told him he's lying because I've been waiting and watching him. Not once did he ever apologize or nothing. Never going neck to this place ever!

Thursday 12/18 around 4:30 pm server was too busy speaking to her friend (that was clocking out) to even bother to ask for our drink order . My family and I arrived at 3:50ish . Please keep in mind this was an empty day with only person picking up an online order . I realized she was not going to bother to come and check on my table when i decided to leave . . I asked her for her name and a number where i can contact a supervisor, when Her coworker that was clocking out told her to not give any of that information so she won’t lose her job. That coworker was very defensive and upset, when i simply asked if i can speak to someone on top of them because this behavior is unacceptable. She proceeded to give me (2-3) different wrong numbers to contact to make this report .
Don’t come here some staff believe gossiping is more important than taking customers orders

Very helpful waiters and waitress Attending all customer and the orders .very good food thank to the cooks and we'll manage place thanks to the manager. All Good.
Problem is the older Hispanic manager (dark grey shirt, dark rainbow tie & slacks), barking orders out to workers, & he didn't want to be bothered to enter my AARP card for my discount, so the younger guy took care of it. His demeanor was AWFUL, & I swore we'd never return. There's many other options, incl other Denny's to visit. Don't bother.

Me and my wife came for breakfast in the morning and got our super slam special and was created with a roach in our food the waiter acted like she didn’t see nothing and told us she can make us another plate but I refused and told her to look closer. She did and said it’s nothing maybe a fly flew on our plate but the photo clearly shows a baby roach so this proves they are not making sure food is clean clearly has a roach problem if a baby roach can be on top of the food without any of the staff noticing. For any one coming to eat here make sure you check your food before consuming
