Pops Burgers, located in Taft, California is a small restaurant with a fast food look. I'm not sure you could call it fast food, since they say they cook nothing until you order it. They serve pastrami, so . . .Anyway I had a Colossal Burger, which is a burger and pastrami, $9,99. I added cheese 50 cents. Large drink $1.00 more. Upgrade to large fries $1.50. Total, with tax, $14.06. I will leave it to the reader to decide if that was expensive. The burger was good. I will have to pass on the pastrami on future visits. But if you're ever in Taft, I suggest you give them a try. It's better than the Golden haunches, I suppose, but honestly, I haven't eaten there since they sold their last billion. Mmmmkkkkkkk?

I ordered a pastrami burger, fries and a milkshakeAll items we're fantastic! Only two workers at the time and had a big order, plus the drive threw.They we're very busy at that moment. But, very nice and apologigetic. Food was awesome!
Sorry I didn’t take photos, but we had a good lunch there recently. We were hungry after a long day out in the flowers of Carrizo Plain. This was just what we needed. I had an excellent burger with cheese & pastrami. My traveling companion had a pastrami sandwich. Both were simple but good. Fries were just okay. The dining area was clean and modern. A good choice!

We been living in town for one year finally decided to try this place. Did not realize it was near closing time which is why I think our crispy chicken sandwiches were not fully cooked we got gas the next day not ashamed to be honest about that. Service was friendly, tho
