Got a $60 bill and a $75 charge on my credit card. She said they automatically put tips on there receipts guess I’m gonna dispute it with my credit card and move on.

Not my favorite spot. It's a classic dive that is a bit dingy and the bar area frequently smells bad. The food is acceptable if a bit overpriced. They have a solid draft list. There are better bars in north lake.

This is the best place in Tahoe City for burgers in the summer. Out door dining is the bomb and those burgers are charbroiled masterpieces. Waffle fries are my choice to go with these burgers.Parking is super tight in the summer and winter the snow takes up parts of the parking lot. Indoors is nice in the winter too. The burgers are the best thing here anytime of year.

Busy, busy! Good food with a lot of burgers and tacos available. Good beer list as well. It is very small and fills up quickly, so be prepared to wait. Overall, it's a great little local spot.

Overall, it was okay. The atmosphere is cozy, and the food filled the void. The staff seemed....tired/irritable. I most likely would find somewhere else to go before returning.

The Bridgetender is our go-to spot whenever we're in the area. The burgers and drinks are fantastic, and the service is consistently friendly. During the summer, we love sitting outdoors, while its cozy cabin-style ambiance makes winter visits equally enjoyable. My personal favorite is the bison burger with a side salad, and I never miss starting with their delicious fried pickles. They offer a full bar with delightful mules, and don't forget to check out their board for specials. Highly recommended!

Friendly local bar and restaurant. We had the chili cheeseburger and shrimp tacos with an add-on of avocado. The chili on the cheeseburger included beans with a very light, sweet taste. Being from Texas, this was different and tasted great. The shrimp tacos were also great.

I have the best memories of this place back in 94-95. All of the locals would hang out there. Awesome, Bloody Mary's with pickled okra.I miss the Tender.

We came here for a burger after an emphatic recommendation from a colleague and were very disappointed. The bar has that distinct "dirty bar" smell of old citrus and stagnant water. Our meals were just meh. The waitress was alright until the end - she had a "I'm here, what do you want" vibe rather than a helpful vibe but that's okay, we just stopped to get a burger. When it was time to pay, the payment terminal defaulted to a 25% tip, which seemed pretty high given the level of service and restaurant overall. When my husband chose 20% tip she gave him attitude and walked off... it was super cringe.

Delicious food, friendly staff, comfortable ambiance. The regular burger was anything but "regular" it was outstanding. The elk burger was a standout surprise. The fries were potatoey goodness with a crispy crunch and soft interior. Burgers came heaped with veggie fixings! Great selection of beers. Fun aprés ski mix of younger people around the bar and families at the booth tables. Definitely a highlight of our Tahoe City visit!
