Great comfort food in a campy wood-paneled pub/yachtclub-style setting. Went there for lunch to grab some takeout, ended up waiting over 10 minutes to see much less speak to anyone. The place was busy with plenty of medium and large groups, the staff was overwhelmed to keep up. But once I was able to place my order the service was pretty quick. If I wasn't in a hurry, I would very much haven enjoyed sitting down at a table, there is also a bar.

Mediocre at best. Many failure points during my visit. Typical Tahoe

I've been going here for years. It's always delicious and fun to be at. The berry compote over the coffee cake is a mainstay. I love the bakers Benedict also. Go early to avoid the wait.

Exceptionally delicious little gem near Tahoe City. You can't go wrong with any menu choice here. However, keep in mind you need to get here early if you want to avoid a wait. That being said, it's worth the wait.

HUGE PORTIONS! Friendly staff, food was delicious and was quite busy for a Sunday morning. Only complaint is that the wait service seemed to be slightly understaffed. Other than that it was simply

Always a great meal here. Great service and ambiance! Gluten free friendly which is pretty hard to find for breakfast in Tahoe City.

Back to Fire Sign again and something about this place just hits different. I think it's the old style wood tables and chairs, quaint cabin decor, and Jackson Browne radio backing the conversation with friends and family while I sipped an always full cup of coffee. Even though I usually place more emphasis on the food, and the banana bread was a touch dry, my eggs were obnoxiously cheesy and the French toast left me wanting a bit more batter, sometimes it's better to be reminded there's no such thing as perfect. That said, the service is great. You'll feel like family here. Be it winter or summer, Fire Sign has you covered for a down home start to the day on the lake.

Wack coffee. Cappuccino tasted burnt and the -warm- oat milk latte was served in a pint glass, for some reason. Good portion size. Quality of food wasn't anything crazy.

A must stop when you're in town. Food was delicious, filling and generously portioned. The mimosa was also great. Get the mug it's just a dollar more, totally worth it. Service was 12/10. Staff very attentive and friendly. Love the set up of the restaurant. We got there early so the wait wasn't long.

Been going here for years, before the crowds and the logo change. We have always enjoyed the service and the breakfast sandwich is my go to with a side of spicy aioli. Summer is the best for outside seating and enjoying the views of tourist. I do miss Covid when you could get a bottle of champagne to go and no crowds...

I met customers at the Fire Sign Cafe and have to tell you I'm glad they turned me on to this local hangout. The servers were on it and took very good care of us from the time we hit the door to leaving. I had a surprisingly good burrito, and all three of us enjoyed our meals. I hear the breakfasts are really good and definitely plan on giving them a shot for my favorite meal, breakfast.
