The sides are off the chart! Nice portions of Mac n Cheese. We all had different meats, smoked turkey, BBQ chicken, blackened Mahi, Mahi and pulled pork platters. Here's a picture of an after dinner drink because there's nothing left on anyone's platter.

The Good: Views. Meat.
The Not-So-Good: Items on the menu weren't available. 2 of 4 orders came incorrect (should've been sandwiches but got platters). The sides (Mac and cheese and beans) were cold when it came to the table. The service- no one to serve, only deliver food. There was one gal hustling and a guy who was just leaning on the counter telling you to talk to the girl. We had to go to the bar to get menus, to order, and no one checked on us after food was delivered. My real pet peave... They ask for a tip when you order and the minimum was 18%. That was too much... there wasn't any service, the food was not available, wrong and cold. Considering the experience, we definitely won't be back. Overall... disappointing. Thank goodness for the view.

She was very nice and patient, and the food came out really quick! But I also don't think the food was good for what I paid. Just disappointing. I wouldn't come here to eat again, but the vibes were good.

Small portions. Not like a normal smokehouse where you get a generous serving. Everything was just lackluster in flavor. Beer was flat.

Very reviewable side dishes, discreet meat. The meat clearly reheated given that it arrived in 5 minutes, the side dishes cold. Already very limited choice and many dishes already sold out at 7pm. Avoid!

A place right on the lake, the menu was clear, you ordered at the counter, there was water for free.

Jason our “server” and bartender was very rude. We were a party of 8 and multiple of us shared our meals. We each had to go to the bar to order and then he wouldn't let us pay then because he wanted his 20% gratuity tip of 8 people. He never checked on us and I even had to get us our own water. We split the bill by 7 but he made it very confusing. If it was too much he should have just asked us to use 1 card or had us pay at the counter when we had to go up to order ourselves anyways (which we tried to do). He then had the audacity to signal we were crazy to his coworker saying "it's like I've never done this before" while we were still there... at least wait for us to leave. He was also very rude to his coworkers. Our $16 bloody Mary’s weren’t even filled all the way either, probably leaving an inch plus gap. The food was not good very good especially for the price. It's a sign when it's noon on a Saturday and there's only a few guest in the restaurant. I recommend taking your business elsewhere and I hope Jason gets out of the service industry or gets some training on how to treat customers- he has no manners and is way too cocky. I highly recommending going right next door to Za’s they greeted us right when we came in and checked on us multiple times and it was busy! A tall tail sign!

Jason the Bartender was inconvenienced that we were there. Bad attitude. Rude to his staff. Rude to our party. And then insults our group as we are leaving to the other people at the bar. Because we asked for split cards. Hopefully he finds some happiness or joy, extremely unnecessary.
I recommend Za’s around the corner!

A hidden gem, with plenty of outdoor seating and tasty reasonably priced food. The wings were perfect, spicy but not overpowering. The Mac and cheese was delicious, as were the beans. I will go again for sure.

We ate Mo's last night (3rd September 2024) and unfortunately my husband spent the night with sickness and diarrhea which as we hadn't eaten anything must have come from the food he ordered.
He had blackened Mahi Mahi. A shame as the food seemed tasty and the waitress lovely. The restaurant has beautiful views over the lake.

Waited 20 minutes just for our drink order even longer for our food which was cold when it arrived (catfish piece still frozen in the middle). The place wasn’t even busy when we arrived. No refunds. Paid almost $300 and left hungry

Food was served cool. Staff over the top friendly. View obviously fantastic. Food quality was mediocre. Ribs were small. Green beans like just poured out of a can. Cost is typical for Tahoe. One person $50 is ridiculous.
