The service was poor, and the food was worse. Chipotle makes better guacamole, and the Birria taco is no more than pot roast on a tortilla. ??

Good food from the kitchen. Nice staff. Definitely overpriced as it’s targeted at wealthy tourists. Bit of a douchey clientele but that comes with the territory...

Even though it was super busy our server was so nice, it's a fun atmosphere and the food is good.

Vegetarian options: The cauliflower option for "protein" is outstanding. much better than the delicata squash they had in the winter!

Shadyside Lounge is a fun place with a great atmosphere and friendly staff both in winter and summer. The drink and beer selection are very good. The menu is limited and the food is fine though not particularly outstanding. Prices are on par with other North Tahoe restaurants.

Really liked this place. We walked down from the campground across the street. Wife and I split an order of Tinga chicken tacos. And I had a Manhattan. They were delicious. We have been looking up recipes of how the make tinga chicken at home ever since. I know some have complained about the portion size but we we really happy with the quality over quantity and after eating we were both full and ready to walk back up the hill and start a campfire. We will definitely be coming back here again next year. And we want to invite friends to join us. Its really nice to find a good local place that cares about quality.
Parking: we have no idea. we walked down from w. Kent campground.

This place is amazing! Food was incredible and the service was outstanding! Our server Kerri did an amazing job! She was attentive and extremely knowledgeable of the menu and specialty drinks. You'd never know she was slammed by how pleasant and friendly she was, she made us feel special! We'll be back for sure!!

Well designed, stylish venue. Delicious sauces and salsas. Chips and tortillas taste home made. Chicken tinga and carnitas were my favorite of the proteins.
Amazing cocktails! Creative and delicious.
Friendly staff.
They don’t take reservations. Go for lunch or an early dinner, or you might expect to wait 30+ minutes for a table starting at 6pm. They take your phone number and can text you when your table is ready.
