We stopped in after a stroll around the lake with our baby and posted up on the outdoor patio. We were greeted warmly and received delicious recommendations for both beer and the lunch menu—spot ON were the Cali common beer and their amber. And the food…SO delicious! Dan Dan noodles are not to be missed, they have a beautiful Szechuan influence and kale, we devour every bite. They grind the meat for their burger in-house and you can taste the goodness between the havarti and arugula. Love coming here every visit!

My beers were fine. The food was excellent. Expected more from the reviews.

Came here for some beer and dinner. How does a brewing company only have 4 beers on tap? However, the food was the real stinker. My table got a variety of things and I can confidently say all of them were bad. The wings were rubbery and somehow didn't taste like anything. The soup was under salted, the tots were under salted, the burger was really small for the price, the cucumber salad was also way too vinegary and small for the price. I will not be coming back and will actively tell others to save their money and go elsewhere. Not sure how anyone can give this place 5 stars...

Location was great, right on the lake, but for a place that advertises itself as a brewery, what a disappointment. There were upwards of 20 taps, but they only had three beers on tap. Seems this place is more about the restaurant and bar than being a brewery. Bartender was less than friendly which only further detracted from the experience. If you want a drink or diner by the lake, enjoy, but if you are looking for craft beer, go elsewhere.

This is my absolute favorite place in all of Tahoe. They brew good beer with something different each time. Similarly, the menu changes with the seasons. Right now they have a szechuan menu but it will be soon changing to mediterranean for the summer. The service is great and the decor is modern and sleek. Plus, if the weather is nice, they have a fantastic patio with lake views. Check it out! It's behind Safeway.Parking: 25 spots

Great atmosphere with one of best views of the planet right on Lake Tahoe that can't be beat. Very good beers, good food. Somewhat limited menu with a surprising Szechuan style on a lot of it - spicy, salty. Great location to gather on the patio with friends as your après.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pizza, salads, green beans, pretzels, etc...

Let me preface with the fact I'm a foodie, make a wide variety of cuisines at home and am persnickety about eating out...anywhere. So much of what is available to us in Northern Nevada, including Reno, Sparks and our home in Carson City is mostly 'ho-hum' and not worthy of dining out (with rare exception). So imagine our surprise when we stumbled upon Tahoe National Brewery and restaurant after back country skiing above Tahoe a couple weeks ago. Their beer drove us in and the food menu rocked us...in a great way! That's not to suggest the beer isn't 'worthy' because it is!We were met with friendly and competent wait staff, bar tender along with "David" the owner & brewmaster. Their passion for their libations and culinary fare is infectious and visibly so rare, especially in the restaurant industry today. We stopped in today (Friday March 15th), again after another nice backcountry ski tour, had wonderful beers, cucumber salad (not your mama's cuke salad!) and the Dan Dan noodles. We sat at the cozy & relaxed bar with a beautiful view of Lake Tahoe out the vast picture windows and thoroughly enjoyed everything once again. The food has been just such a wonderful surprise: Creative, fun and unique menu and competently prepared. And the Dan Dan noodles, especially, were over the top. Truly! I consider this dish a destination type entree; its that good!Anyway, we look forward to repeating our visits as often as possible; we'll become regulars for sure. I only hope, selfishly of course, the line outside the door doesn't get too long.

I paid $25 for a "szechuan stir fry" that had what must have been microwave vegetables. Our party also had a deep dish pizza that had to have been frozen and reheated as well as pork dumplings that came out cold and barely edible.Maybe come by for a drink, but it is irresponsible to sell food of this quality for this price.

Haven't had the pleasure of dining here yet, but I ordered pickup from their special holiday French menu and it was some of the best food I've ever tasted, even after the twenty minute drive back to place I was staying. The ambiance of this restaurant is incredible, and the location is perfect with a view of the lake and the rustic, but cozy and intimate lighting. I look forward to dining here in person this coming summer.

Great spot with a cool vibe. Interior design is hip and fresh. Wonderful lake views. Great food cool bar. We’ve stopped in twice this winter for a snack and a bottle of their Lula Pinot Noir.

A group of us (6) went yesterday for the first time. I can honestly say everyone enjoyed their food and we did have an assortment. Only tried the IPA which was delicious but they have more.Would highly recommend.

Our experience from 1/9/23. After a good first experience at this Tahoe National Brewing Company we decided to take our friend here. Somewhat busy Friday night and it took a while to be served (completely understandable). Each of us ordered drinks, plus shared appetizer and main course (2 burgers, 1 Mongolian beef bowl and 1 eggplant). After about 30-35 minutes, the burger and Mongolian beef came to the table and the waiter left. 10 -15 minutes later, we had to flag a waiter to check on the eggplant. The waiter came over to say they were out of the eggplant but gave no explanation why we were never told. No apologies, only a "do you want something else"? At this point almost everyone was done with their meal and our last friend got a beet salad in lieu of the eggplant. Here's where the low review comes in. The entire table assumed the salad would just be comped given the lack of communication and lo and behold its on the bill. I ask to speak with a manger and get pointed to someone. When that person becomes available they tell me to talk to the kitchen manager (larger gentlemen in a hat). A few sentences into my explanation he says "can you hurry up with your problem?".The manager ended up disgruntledly taking the salad off the bill. Another staff person comes to the defense of the waiter saying the salad was delivered (we never said it wasn't). As I try to defend that staff with 1 foot into the kitchen promenade the manager snaps "get out of the kitchen!".Fine. We still left your staff a 15% tip but based on the service from multiple waiters and managers I would caution all potential patrons from visiting the Tahoe National Brewing Company. I do hope the ownership takes the time to read this as they do have good food and a great location but as a service industry employee myself, I was amazed at the lack of care or concern for the paying customers.- M

Really warm but expansive environment to enjoy some of north lake’s most yummy and innovative cuisine. The owner is a talented brew master offering much more than your standard offering. For instance the craft ginger beer. Since they have a full bar, you can add a little bit of bourbon to that drink and you will stick around for a while. And if you’re interested in fun event, or just a good party scene on a weekend night, look no further than Tahoe National. Great DJ last night. Don’t forget their awesome outdoor deck with a Great Lake view.
