Visiting from San Antonio, TX, and this is hands down, the best place we've eaten at while vacationing, here in Tahoe! GREAT service, impeccable dishes with bursting flavor!!! Definitely a MUST, if you're visiting the area.

We stopped to eat here before the fireworks at Commons beach on 4th of July and it was great. Awesome local vibe with good drink selection and classic American dishes. They had large TV’s with baseball on, so my son was happy. Parking was easy and the staff was friendly and kind!

Stopped in on a whim for lunch today. Bartender was really cool, friendly and efficient. I ordered the BLAT sandwich and it was amazing. Took all my self control not to order another to go. Lol Also loved the cold water station especially as it was warming up quite a bit outside. I will be back, not a local but not to far to drive.

The food was really good we order fish N’fritte, a New York steak N fritte, a burger 🍔 chicken wings that seem triple the size of regular chicken wings 😂 and finally a calamari po boy .., Staff was really nice and prompt to serve we did not have to wait much for our food or to place our order at the bar we would totally comeback !!!

Enjoyed a leisurely lunch here during the recent snowstorm - we'd had plans to hit the mountains but with everything closed due to the high winds and absolutely dumping snow we opted for a day in town. Ended up here for a nice lunch with tasty food and some good cocktails.
The special was a pastrami chili that my partner enjoyed but said the cotija cheese was a bit salty for their taste- but it didn't stop them from devouring the whole bowl! The Naan flying bird was fantastic - very flavorful with juicy chicken, bright tang of the pickled red onions and the salty flavor of the feta - i opted for no aioli on mine and it was still delectable. The service was a bit slow so if you're in a hurry I wouldn't recommend but if you're alright with Tahoe Time you should be just fine enjoying a meal and drink here.
They also have some board games to play - a couple nearby had a spirited game of battleship going and it seems they encourage a good hang here.
We were between meals and just wanted a quick snack to go. The pretzel bites were sooooo good. Crispy outside, tender inside and full of flavor. The atmosphere is informal and fun. Service is friendly and welcoming (order at the counter, like a pub in England). It helps that there are step-by-step instructions posted as you walk in. 😉
Shelby was so friendly and made our experience at the Tahoe Tap house really enjoyable! Great service and energy always makes a meal taste that much better!
