Heavy burritos that taste great.
Best Burritos in Town – A Hidden Gem!
The Burrito Window is an absolute gem! Quick, delicious, and always satisfying — this place never disappoints. The ingredients are super fresh, the portions are generous, and the flavors are out of this world. Whether you’re grabbing a classic burrito or trying one of their creative specials, every bite is packed with flavor.
The service is fast and friendly, perfect for a lunch break or a late-night craving. I love how convenient it is — just walk up, order, and enjoy! It’s become one of my go-to spots, and I always bring friends here when they’re in town. If you haven’t tried The Burrito Window yet, you’re seriously missing out.
The veggie tacos and the tostada were excellent and the staff were very nice. Would recommend.
Delicious burritos and tacos, made fresh.
Delicious. And the service was friendly as well!
Tasty burritos and quick service. Kids portions were perfect for them and the pork was super tasty.
The burritos were terrible. Our rice was crunchy (undercooked?) and the flavors were not good. There was mostly rice in my burrito, very little beans. And the tortilla was barely toasted and felt stale as it was cracked all over from being folded. I think it's the worst burrito I've ever had. Also, this is not really a place to sit and linger. It's grab and go even though there are some tables inside.
Great local place to grab some good food. Eat in or enjoy your food across the street on the beach.
Try the fish burrito bowl. It's fantastic!

This unassuming place surprised us greatly with simple but authentic Mexican food that was packed with flavor. I had the pork bowl, my wife had carne asada tacos, and we also got a side of guacamole and chips.
Very impressive, and the prices were quite good compared to what we see in Portland.

Friendly staff, clean shop, parking is difficult. High prices, small portions. $13.25 + tax for a medium-sized burrito. (A little high).
Taco was american size for $4.00 each-A la carte (reasonable price), larger than street taco.

Rice and beans lacked freshness and were likely frozen. Good service and ambiance.

Food came out quick, but the rice in all 4 burritos we ordered was uncooked, to the point where it was really hard to even chew it.
The spiciness level seemed irrelevant, since the spicy version was just as mild as the mild version.
The patio at the back is nice.

One of the best burritos I’ve ever had right across the street from parasailing!

Been working in North Tahoe for quite some time now serving as a utility technician and food spots are typically limited in the area. Whether it may be authentic Mexican or not, this is hands down the best place in the area for burritos. I’ve had Ts in Incline and the authentic Mexican restaurant behind Taco Bell, and in all honesty, this place has them beat. It’s never too busy in there, but when it is, they’re consistent with customer service. Parking is definitely a challenge but I think it’s worth the walk if you park a ways away. Will continue to be a regular customer!
