Was walking back to car, from AT&T store down the street, and saw this enchanting little store front with an enticing smell wafting out the front door! Saw their sign for "Taco Tuesday" specials, and even though I wasn't planning on eating there or even getting tacos, lol, I had to venture in. It's a clean, cute, casual place with a friendly woman manning the front area. They do have tables and a charming, small dining area, but I elected to take my food to-go. I ordered two chicken street-style tacos and rice. They were, unfortunately, out of their yummy-sounding veggie tacos or I would have tried those. Next time:)

Go here for the authentico food, not the atmosphere. Great choices, fresh ingredients, helpful wait staff. Delish food, and bonus salsa bar with some unexpected selections.

Okay this place is pretty damn amazing. I love Mexican food, but this place isn't like a normal "taco shop". It's a small place, could be a normal taco place, a very nice, high end taco place. Service, great. Ambiance, great. The little salsa bar, I thinks it's one of the best I've ever had. And the food, well that's we're this place earns a SOLID 5 star, and I for one, will not be the one to give it less than 5. I got this plate , beef shank plate, I was incredibly tender, and the flavors, man the flavors in this joint of off the charts. I'm serious when I say flavor exploration!! The flavor blasts came first with the amazing fresh chips and refried bean dip! The salsas are exceptional. And the super duper treat was the tortillas. They had to be home made, made fresh. Incredible!! I would skip the al pastor, was a little too healthy for my liking but the taste, like everything else was outstanding

I'm very pleased with my first experience with this place. I order the carne asada burrito and it is really delicious. I'm really pleased with the quality of the carne asada. I'm looking forward to coming back on Tuesday to try their Taco Tuesday special.

A few co-workers said good things about El Rincon Maya's food so, I had to try it out myself. We came during lunchtime on a Tuesday and to our surprise, they participate in Taco Tuesday! Fish and shrimp tacos were $2.50 and the meat tacos were $1.25. Not sure how much the tacos are regularly. The server brought us chips and warm bean dip while we waited for our food. There is also a little salsa bar off to the side to get additional salsas to your liking. The fish, shrimp, and carne asada tacos were delicious! Good portions. We found free parking in the back of the restaurant.

Taco Tuesday!! Nice little Mexican restaurant on Ventura. Great looking menu. It's small in the inside but clean and nicely decorated. Can see the kitchen in the back is also well maintained. Home made tortillas and salsas. Excited to come back and try other things on the menu.

DONT WASTE TIME READING MY REVIEW, GO TO EL RINCON NOW AND THANK ME LATER!! I am glad we finally made it here, only took a year. For starters, the restaurant is nice and clean and the service is attentive and kind. At our first visit (we have been two times now), the chef/owner heard my hubs asking for spicy salsa, and made him a special blend that did not disappoint. When we walked in today, he did the same without asking...the salsa bar is full of fresh, delicious, house salsas, a few that i am not familiar with being this is Mayan style Mexican food. There are some habanero pickled onions on there that are the makings of an obsession, so bright and acidic with just the right amount of kick. First visit, I tried the cochinita pibil on the fried tortillas, panuchas (probs spelling this wrong) and an al pastor taco. The pibil is tender and seasoned well, and all the fun stuff on top makes it even more enjoyable. The al pastor was also tender, tho i was very full and i need to try it on its own to give a true review. Hubs ordered the rellenos, that were filled with ground meat and spices and topped with a piping hot red sauce that was tangy and thick, very different from the usual Chiles rellenos i have tried. It is served with their handmade corn tortillas that were warm and soft and very comforting. Today, (a Wednesday), i had their special of a mini burrito with a drink for 6.25. Had it again with the pibil...even better than the other day!! The tortilla was wrapped expertly and toasted on the grill. I topped every bite with the addictive habanero onions. Hubs and i shared this and also split a carne Asada torta. The steak was cooked expertly and was quite tender, and was in large strips, unlike other asadas I've tried. While tortas usually aren't my thing, the flavors and toppings were great. All i could think is that steak would be amazing in a burrito, so that's where I'm headed next. The aguas frescas are yummy. And the rellenitos (a plantain dessert) were also a nice touch. Will be going back over and over, I'm sure.

My family and our friends stopped here for lunch this past Saturday after the pumpkin patch. I cannot begin to describe how delicious the food was! It was hands down some of the BEST food I have ever tasted! The flavors, the spices, the presentation.....tremendous! We asked to meet the Chef so we could tell him how amazing our meals were! He was a delight and was so pleased we liked it! We will for sure go back! I'm telling you, this place will blow your mind! I had the fish and shrimp taco and it melted in my mouth!

We found this little hidden gem. The food is incredibly fresh and that translates to great tasting tacos. We love the Tacos A La Diabla and some of the other tacos as well as the carne asada burritos. This place is a must for anyone who craves home made fresh tacos.

This is my favorite place for tacos, and they do breakfast burritos on the weekends that are amazing! It is a total mom and pop place with friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. The owner, Fitz, is the best!

Incredible, unique & satiating cuisine. We're so lucky to have this option in our neighborhood. Tell your friends far & wide, its worth a drive. I don't often eat pork, but these carnitas are to die for. Its super authentic & delicious! Please don't miss it. If you have time to chat with the owner (if he's there) do it. He's so kind & cultured! I can see how he's designed such a wonderful place; he's so well traveled and is bringing something truly special to the valley. I wouldn't call it "Mexican" food, but whatever it takes to get people in the door, I guess! Pro tip: Ask for extra bean dip! Its soooo good! I'm allergic to avocado, but my boyfriend thinks their avocados are always the best! Fresh, delicious & authentic food is what you'll find here. You're welcome (for telling you!) ;D
