This is not a good sushi spot. The miso soup is clearly store-bought, and not from a good store. The rolls kept falling apart, and I know how to use chopsticks so I'm not sure who they got rolling the sush but they need a slap on the face for this. I got the salmon skin roll, the shanty, and mackerel nigiri. Aside from the mackerel, everything was just bland, small and nothing special. Like everything just tasted like carnival cruise sushi made in mass. Except for the mackerel. Mackerel is delicious anywhere.
My buddy treated me to thank me for helping him out with something, and after the 2 rolls I ordered, I literally didn't want to order anything else, since nothing was all that special, or good really. Also they don't serve sake. How you gonna operate a sushi restaurant and not serve sake?!?
Service also sucked. There were 2 sushi chefs and 1 waitress. Since there's no bar to sit at, there was 0 contact with the chefs. The waitress didn't smile once, was hard to get ahold of (which is crazy for a less than 30 seat restaurant) and didn't refill my water once.
The total came to just over $60 for both my friend and I, and while writing this review I realized they charged me for a coke I didn't order.
Do yourself a favor, don't come here. Instead, walk across the street to Light and Healthy and have AYCE for barely more cash, with alcohol.
I left hungry. Will not be coming back.
