Their onion rings are the BEST! Super crispy and best with ranch! A must try! The customer service was also incredible! They're super friendly and welcoming! If you're in the valley, this is a must try place!

I went back to Sam's Philly Steak since I was in the area to see what it's like after years of not getting the chance to pop in. The place was remodeled some time ago and now has a more sleek and tidy design. The owner is still there making food to order at the speed of light (my order was very fast, even with having three items). The super cheese steak is definitely something I'll be coming back for if I'm in the area because of how filling and tasty the steak, onions, mushrooms, and peppers are, and the chili cheese fries have a perfect balance of taste and melt in your mouth goodness. Even as prices have gone up the past few years especially with other restaurants, this one has stood the test of time and continues to provide great value for great tasting food.

Very clean restaurant. A little hard to find but fantastic food (next to IHOP). I ordered the Philly with onions and mushrooms with provolone. $17 for foot long. Fantastic flavor. Well worth every penny. Owner was kind.

Thanks for waisting my money, my time, and leaving me disappointed. fix your business. No wonder why there was no one in there.

Best cheesesteak in the city bar none. Service is great, ambiance is Greek Diner-esque. Add some Cheez Whiz and you'd think you were back in Philly!

I have tried a few different steak and cheese places around Los Angeles, and sam's is by far the best.

By far the worst Cheesesteak I’ve had. No flavor and it was awfully small. Hardly had any mushroom or peppers and I couldn’t taste the cheese. I don’t recommend getting a cheesesteak from here. If you want a better one I recommend Philly’s Best on Ventura Blvd or if you happen to be in the Venice area Great Western Steak and Hoagie.

The chili cheese fries and hot dog was really good. The Philly cheesesteak had a gross aftertaste that made eating it unbearable. The worker was very nice. Might give it another try soon.

First time trying this place as I approached the counter and asked a few questions the weirdo owner starts getting irritated. That's strange he didn't know anything about cheesesteaks, which was disappointing. Nevertheless I ordered and the food was extremely MID. The sandwich was lacking meat it looked like a kids meal. I'll pass forever on this place and the strange owner, I should've left when I walked in and the place was empty at lunchtime.

Just placed an order for pepper steak sandwich Was a little disappointing. Barely any onions or peppers on the steak mostly just meat and bread. Barely any cheese as well. Also orders a side of cheese fries but they were soggy and barely a full potion. I thought this place was gonna be good based on reviews

One of the best Philly cheesesteaks you can have. Have been coming here for years. Service is great and food is prepared immediately upon ordering. Never disappointed with the dish here. 3 booths available and bar style seating as well. Parking can be tough sometimes as it's in a shopping center. But definitely would say stop and eat here

Tried this place with my friend on a Friday night, and it was dead. Got chili cheese fries and the mushroom steak with provolone. The chili cheese fries were pretty good, liked the cheese sauce they used on them, and my mushroom steak sandwich was good too, better than some other steak sandwiches nearby. You can actually taste the steak, which blended well with the mushrooms, onions, and provolone, but wasn't a big fan of the bread, it was a little too much. For a Philly cheesesteak, I'd expect it to be greasy, which it really wasn't. The place was really clean though and they had plenty of parking.

I used to come here often and decided to try it again. I was definitely ordering a Philly cheesesteak. They have 3 different cheese option but I went with the yellow cheese. It used to be serviced on a larger roll but this time it was more like a skinny baguette. They were also light on the cheese. Still gave them 4 stars since the meat was tasty, bread was fresh and service was quick.
