Went to Vanak Restaurant and Bakery for a Persian brunch and had such a great experience. We ordered Kale Pacheh, a classic Persian brunch staple, and it did not disappoint — flavorful, comforting, and very well prepared.

The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Portions were generous — easily enough for two people — and the food was genuinely tasty and satisfying.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Persian brunch in a welcoming, warm environment. We’ll definitely be back.

Today 12/30/2026 I got one plate kale pache in the vanak restaurant
Unfortunately I never liked this food the bread was lavash that i have never eaten this food with lavash bread and it was always and everywhere sangak bread , the quality of food was not bad and the flavor and taste very plain and never tasted kale pache it was my honesty experience of Vanak restaurant ✌🏽

Vanak Restaurant is an absolute gem in Reseda. The kabobs are top-tier — perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled just right every time. You can taste the quality in every bite.

And the kash-e bademjan? Hands down one of the best I’ve had. Rich, smoky, perfectly balanced, and made the way it’s supposed to be. Comfort food at its finest.

The portions are generous, the food is consistently fresh, and the flavors feel authentic and homemade. If you’re craving real Persian food done right, Vanak is the spot. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be back again and again.

Just ordered their Tachin through Uber eats. It was srale and tasted/smelled like rotten eggs. I've had Tachin all my life. This one was so bad not sure if I can even call it Tachin. Unfortunately Uber eats me a refund either while I had to through it in the trash.

The best Kaleh Pacheh I have ever tried in the US!!

We ordered tea and the cups they served were visibly dusty and still had the retail stickers on them. When we pointed this out and politely requested clean cups, the owner refused to wash or replace them. Instead, he told us to pay for the tea and leave, even though we could not drink it. He then told us not to return. This smelly store ignores basic hygiene and basic customer service. We will not be coming back.

Really good Persian food and one plate would be able to feed 2-3 people. I got a plate with chicken, steak, and Koobideh which was served with basmati rice, Shirazi salad and a tasty bread on the bottom of the meat. The bread gave it a nice texture and a savory taste. As dessert I got a hot tea with baklava that was made from turkey and I highly recommend it, the baklava has no fructose syrup at all and was made with natural ingredients like ghee, and was so moist compared to other places where I’ve had baklava. The service was incredible our server was very attentive and gave us good recommendations! I will definitely be coming back

Definitely one of the best Persian food I have had in CA ,, not only the food is soo good but the owner and stuff are also super nice and friendly.. definitely my new to go to spot
