Warm and casual, friendly local spot for breakfast. Huge breakfasts that we couldn't finish and took half to go. Love not being in a touristy spot. Sweet decor, loved the low key vibe. I enjoyed my chorizo scramble, my husband's Chile verde omelette was nicely spiced with a good amount of chile. Give them a try if you are looking for a delicious, substantial breakfast. I should have ordered from their small appetites selection! The menu is pretty inclusive of all things breakfast, i.e, pancakes, French toast, omelettes, oatmeal. They have some vegetarian options as well.
The food here was simply so good. I ordered french toast with blueberries and it was absolutely delicious. Even the coffee, which is often just so so in diners, tasted delicious. The menu items were very fairly priced, a few dollars less expensive than in most other places that we have visited when traveling around California, which was a refreshing thing to see. The portion sizes were just right. Not too little. Not too much. It's easy to see why they won the best breakfast place award year after year. This will be a definite repeat stop when we travel up and down California in the future.

Just a great breakfast place. The pancakes are juat as they should be and the service is exactly what it needs to be. The place will often have a wait during peak hours, so be aware.
The best breakfast I've had in years! The bisquit and gravy was the best! Great service and great price!! Well worth the visit!
