We pulled up, so did a party bus, then magically, there were no tastings left for the day. This was 3:10pm on a Sunday. They close at 5.
Tried again today. 4/23/22. Got here a few minutes before 5. The guy at the front said "No more tastings today.
There will be no more attempt to go here.
Update... 2+ years after the first reviews, I hear they are closing. Not shocked.
My husband and I had a delicious lunch. He enjoyed his Lager beer and I enjoyed a red wine flight. You're able to select three different wines with a three ounce pour each. The barbecue flatbread was delicious as well as the cauliflower appetizer and the chicharrones tapas! It was warmer than I would prefer to eat outdoors but I would recommend it on a cooler day and overall it wasn't that bad because of the water misters. On the day we visited it was actually 100°. We would definitely come again.
We had a great lunch, service, and atmosphere!
Did a tasting here, our server was great and very knowledgeable.
We definitely want to come back on a weekend afternoon and enjoy a glass with live music on the patio.
The food was good but overpriced for the quality. Specialty drinks are way too high as well. Service was better than it used to be for sure. Between the music and then kids it was pretty loud. Not easy to have a conversation with our guests.
Way overpriced. My omelette was rubbery and very small. My partners lox Benedict had 2 sq inches of salmon on a tough mini bagel.
I been to a lot of wineries here in Temecula and this is by far the best one. It’s like a hidden gem! The food was a 10/10! We ordered so many different things. Caviar, Calamari, fries, burgers, flat bread, oysters. Literally everything was so good. The staff was amazing & went above and beyond to help us. I will recommend this place to everyone. I pray their business grows, prospers and becomes one of the top wineries if not already.
Lunch was amazing!! Ben our server was great as usual. Too our friends there for lunch -there first time they enjoyed it very much.
Thank you
My husband and I have eaten here a couple of times before and were very happy all around with the food. Unfortunately this visit lacked the flavor, presentation, and cooking skill we’d come to enjoy in the past. For starters the roasted red pepper soup basically tasted like Rao’s marinara sauce. It did not represent the roasted red pepper flavor we were expecting at all. The lamb chops were served quivering rare, I mean blue rare- barely above room temperature and they were served in a sloppy presentation lying atop an overly large smear of yellow mustard! The lamb chops are described on the menu to be accompanied by a blueberry sauce. Overall, we just did not feel this meal warranted the price point or the praise we wished for and we left feeling disappointed rather than satisfied.
Dinner was really good. Nice place to go. We will be back for sure

When arriving 3 ladies at front desk no one acknowledged us. You could see they were a little busy but no “we will be right with you” just ignored. Finally they were talking amongst themselves after we were finally checked in and then the girl was just waiting for us with no direction. Our waitress was very nice.
The outdoor seating was beautiful, service was top notch and the food was excellent. We had the bbq chicken and the French onion flatbreads, both freshly made and delicious. After our meal we walked around the gardens and saw the wine tasting area.
We had a delicious lunch at Avensole Winery Restaurant and the service was great. Definitely worth stopping by for lunch before doing the wine tastings. Their dinner menu looks equally delicious. We mentioned to our server that we would be going next door to do a wine tasting and she gave us a 2-4-1 wine tasting card which was great. Thank you!
Seated quickly as we had a 12:45 reservation. The red sangria was nice and refreshing. However when I received my chicken sandwich and salad, the salad was slimey and moldy. Our server was quick to apologize and we received a $10 credit off our bill but any sighted person could see the lettuce was bad and should not have been plated.
We were a party of 7 adults and one child, thus were charged a 20% gratuity fee for a large party. In this case, the mediocre service did not warrant a tip of that magnitude. Some issues: Cocktail order was taken from some of the group, but not all. when the drinks were delivered, the order was then taken for the rest of the group. Food service: The child's meal arrived first, long before the other orders. Appetizers and entrees arrived simultaneously. I ordered the short ribs because I was curious about the Korean sauce on the ribs. The sauce was good, but not enough, that issue was quickly resolved with a side dish of the sauce. The risotto was bland and tasteless, and I so stated to the food server, a replacement arrived, which was much improved, but it was not presented until I was finished eating. The other dishes were good, but nothing was particularly memorable. The website presented the restaurant most favorably, but it failed to live up to expectations. We will pass on returning.
