Absolutely authentic delicious gets the Swede stamp of approval

I had such a great time at Batch Mead! I’d never really tried mead before visiting, but now I totally get the hype. Every flavor I tried was unique and delicious, not overly sweet, just really well balanced and smooth. You can tell they put a lot of care into every batch.

The place itself has a super relaxed and welcoming vibe. It’s perfect for a laid back afternoon with friends or a casual date. The staff was awesome too, really knowledgeable and friendly, and they took the time to explain the different types of meads and how they’re made.

I ended up taking a few bottles home (the lavender and berry ones were my favorite) and I’m already planning my next visit. It’s such a cool hidden gem in the area.

If you’re into craft drinks or just want to try something new and local, definitely check out Batch Mead. Highly recommend!

Dropped by to try their mead and tried a flight. All their selections were delicious, my favorites were Curse of Calypso and Viking Mjod. It also happened to be Viking day and people came in costumes while they played renaissance music. They had 5 dollar pizza slices and ax throwing. They also had these horns they drank from but unfortunately I wasn't able to get one, maybe next time. Plan to visit again.

As a professional merman, I’ve encountered my fair share of ocean-inspired experiences, but Batch Mead’s Song of the Sea box is truly something special. This mermaid-themed collection is more than just mead—it’s an immersive journey into the depths of flavor, fantasy, and craftsmanship.

From the moment you open the beautifully designed box, you’re met with a sense of wonder. Each bottle feels like a lost relic from a sunken treasure chest, adorned with stunning artwork that captures the magic of the sea. But the real enchantment lies within—each mead is expertly crafted, delivering waves of flavor that transport you straight to an underwater paradise.

Whether it’s the rich honey undertones, the refreshing fruit infusions, or the smooth, balanced finish, Song of the Sea is a delight for both seasoned mead lovers and newcomers alike. Every sip is like a siren’s song—impossible to resist and utterly enchanting.

Coming from a real merman, I can confidently say that this batch is the real deal. If you’re looking to add a touch of oceanic magic to your next gathering, Renaissance faire, or personal treasure trove, this is the mead for you. Batch Mead, you have my trident’s seal of approval! 🧜‍♂️🍯✨

Drink deep, embrace the tides, and let the sea’s magic flow!

Ordered in Kansas. Just tried the pomegranate mead for the first time and it won't be my last! This is truly delicious mead. From the first sip I could tell they absolutely know what they are doing. I'm even more excited to try the rest of my order (apple pie and Valkyrie's Tears) now. If you are reading this, give Batch Mead a try. They deserve it!

The meads are delicious, on the sweet side, and fully enjoyable. You can taste the honey and the flavours are wonderful! This is what I had in mind when I ordered them. Would totally order more!

I guess the free items they advertise are limited to a few each day as it was not included. Would have been nice to know that was the issue with my order. Hope they can craft better than pack.

You want hospitality? Check. You want amazing backdrops for the gram? A relaxing, comfortable environment to unwind? Check. This family owned and operated meadery is the place to go for any occasion. When they opened in 2019 and the pandemic struck shortly after they pivoted and did whatever they could to expand their business and didn't quit because they believed in their product and brand. Derek and Danielle have built such an amazing spot with so many loyal customers from their drive and determination. Which brings me to the main event- the mead. Derek has spent so much time on research and development honing his craft to deliver expert level meads and ciders over the years, and they just keep getting better. From the quality of ingredients to the dynamic blend of fruits and honey they just don't miss here. Best part is they have something for everyone. Meads and ciders ranging from dry and balanced to rich and sweet. I've been a happy returning customer, and golden hive member, for 4 years now and happily drive over an hour with my wife and kid to visit here frequently. If you've never had mead before I couldn't think of a better place to start, and if you have? Come on down to mead Mecca, you won't look back.

I haven't been to the physical location as of yet but I have ordered from their online store. I've had meads before and I wasn't a big fan... They were either too sweet or somehow didn't taste anything like the way they were supposed to, a lot of the time they were way too strong and overpowering. BUT that is NOT the case with batch mead so far with my experience! I have a new appreciation for Mead that I didn't think I'd have. The honey shines!!!! The notes of fruit are pleasant and none of the flavors overpower each other! You can tell it's alcohol BUT it's not what shines through. Batch Mead has created a beautiful balance!!!!

If I was to be nit picky, the only negative that I could really say is that the labels are a little wonky. On the mermaid bottles the label's just a little bit too big, it overlaps and it makes it a little awkward with such a beautiful label. Maybe sizing them down about a half inch around the bottle... On a lot of the ones that I ordered the labels were placed very crooked or they were placed so far down the bottle that the edge was folded over onto the bottom of the bottle... I know that the labels are made in house, so I just feel like whoever is placing the labels onto the bottles was doing a disservice to the work that went into creating such a beautiful piece of art....

Again, that nit pick in NO WAY takes away from how amazing the mead tastes nor does it lessen my likelihood to reorder, visit the physical location or recommend batch mead!!!

And for anyone thinking about ordering from their online store, please just go for it. I placed my order on the 13th (at like 2am) and received my order via FedEx on the 15th (Im about an hour and a half away from their location)!!! They're incredibly fast on shipping!
