This is such a pretty place. Unfortunately we had an awful experience we came by on my wedding day and we seemed to be the only people there with maybe a few girls having a couple drinks inside it was so gorgeous we took a few photos on my phone. Then a girl comes out and says if we want to stay or take photos we need to buy something I said okay I think we’re going to buy a bottle and she said that’s not enough and told us to leave. I have no idea why she treated me this way when the girls having a glass were taking photos too it seems really off and unwelcoming.

Words cannot describe how happy I am that chose this venue for my big special wedding day!!! My coordinator/manager of this venue, Cecily, and her team went over and beyond for our wedding and nothing could have been more perfect. Everything ran exactly as planned and from the amazing exquisite decor, the unbelievably put together fabulous charcuterie board for cocktail hour, and to all time and effort her and her team put into organizing this wedding was incredible!! I used her references for photography and catering and they both delivered perfectly!! People were so happy and had a GREAT time! They were amazed by the beauty of how well everything was decorated to how beautiful the venue was itself, loved every bite of all the food we had at this wedding, and it was just the perfect day. I honestly could not have had a better wedding and it’s all thanks to this amazing venue, the owner, Cecily, her team, and all the vendors who went beyond 5 stars to make our dream come true!! Also would like to note how Cecily was there for me every step of the way in planning this wedding, and she was even understanding and patient with me with some payments that were due bc some of the family issues during our journey leading up to our big day. At the end of it all, everything that happened ended up bringing all family and friends closer and I owe Cecily a huge thanks for always being there for me whenever I needed her. We love them all so much for what they’ve done for us and cannot thank them enough. I highly recommend this venue for weddings especially if you work with Cecily and her team! Also, the winery itself is a gorgeous setting with a great variety of delicious high quality wines. Amazing, amazing…AMAZING! I wish I could give them more stars if I could!! Thank you sooo much!!!

We had our wedding a few weeks ago and Briar Rose and it was so beautiful! The staff is very nice and attentive to making the day special. It is a small winery, but provides a lovely private garden/backyard party feel which is what we were looking for. Really feels like a magical storybook forest!

From the very start to my wedding to the very end Briar Rose and Cecily were nothing but amazing , she listened to my vision and made it reality the owner Dorian is warm and welcoming and her winery is something straight out of a storybook.

My daughter got married here just a few days ago and after the whole experience, I had to leave a review. Just to start off I’ve never left a review. Let alone a horrible review for any business establishment. But I feel that it was very important for the owners to know how terrible their employees and vendors were to our family During a beautiful brides wedding day. Again to the owners, the establishment, the winery, absolutely stunning. But the vendors, the coordinator and the Food vendor Were absolutely horrible To our family. I had multiple family members complain about the head of food vendor not sure what her title was at scolding and yelling at her Coworkers/team In front of everyone as well as some of our family members for grabbing the wrong plate. The coordinator Grabbing glasses out of our families, hands while drinking from them. And so much more. I wanted to just share a few of the horrible experiences that we’ve had so that they can learn from and understand that they were hired by my daughter to serve our guests with respect not make them feel uncomfortable and unwanted. It’s sad to say that the bad out weighs the good especially at the severity of the outburst from the staff and coordinator. Again this review is to the owner I feel it’s beyond important that she reviews the team that is running this beautiful establishment, and how they tired to ruined such an important day for our family. Again it’s just simple courtesy and costumer service that I feel this place did not have.

Briar Rose Winery is one of my favorite wineries in Temecula.Their easy demeanor with the vines just behind their little cottage that is the Sleeping Beauty home of the Godmothers where she grew up, are fun to stroll through and imagine ? the magic. I love catering for their weddings and special events as I know each moment on their team will be a core memory to be enjoyed for years.

I had a lovely time wine tasting at this winery. It’s perfect for Disney fans, but also subtle if you’re not. I’m not an expert on wine, I just sort of know what I like and what I don’t. I did the mixed tasting that included both reds and whites. Every wine I tasted was delicious. The staff were friendly, attentive, accommodating and overall just lovely. The location was quiet, picturesque and the weather was perfect. It’s tucked away from some of the larger wineries, which I liked (but also not too far off if you’re visiting those as well). There were bottles for sale at all different price points too, which is also nice. I really can’t wait to come back again next time I’m visiting family in the area.

My daughter’s Bridal Shower in June 29th was perfection. Cecily did an amazing job from the time I contacted her, until the end of the Shower. Cecily really listened to the vision we had and made it come alive. Her communication and response to questions was progressional and refreshing. Her pricing is fair and the food is good. The Decorations she put together was stunning. We can tell she puts her heart into all she did for us. Briar Rose Winery was a magical location, and the wine is delicious. All guests Social Media had so many people commenting off their posts.
Everyone was so nice and we will never forget this day. Thank you Cecily. Julie & Samantha!

Our group spent an idyllic afternoon at Briar Rose Winery under the shade of one of the largest and oldest olive trees in southern CA. We sipped wine and some of the guys tried a bottle of Talking Frog, a bubbly wine lager. I opted for the mixed wine tasting ($28), swapping out the 2017 Estate Barbera for the Talking Frog. I liked all the wines I tasted except the Estate Viognier which was way too sweet for my palate. The Barbera was my fav.

Owner Dorian Linkogle was so welcoming and regaled us with stories of the history of this family-owned and operated boutique winery. The fairy tale estate includes a life-size replica of Snow White's cottage built by original owner and early Disney Imagineer, Beldon Fields for his wife in the 1970s.
Les and Dorian Linkogle bought the property in the 1990s (with the promise not to change the architecture of the cottages until after Beldon's death) and opened the winery in 2006. The winery was named Briar Rose, after the princess in the original story of Sleeping Beauty. The grounds are dotted with little tables under large trees offering plenty of beautiful, dappled shade.

Beautiful location, friendly staff. They are only open Friday-Sunday 12-5pm and although they tell you reservations are a must, the owner indicated you can just show up. They offer charcuterie boxes and crackers which our group found overpriced with not much to them, but note that they do allow you to bring outside food in to enjoy with your wine.

Beautiful place and delicious wines. Everything we had on the red and mixed flights were delicious, the pinot grigio, pinot noir, merlot, and cab Sauvignon were stand outs. There’s something for everyone here! We all hated the hefe-vine, but oh well not everything is for everyone. A beautiful picturesque romantic place❤️ the woman with short pixie-cut blond hair was so friendly and welcoming ❤️ website says reservations required but that seems outdated. I wish they had more info on pricing of the wine club

If you are looking for a relaxing place to sit outside and try some wine this may be the place for you if you don't really love wine.Briar is very cute. It is small and they have outdoor seating and your pay to try their wine and there are several to choose from.Sadly, the wine is not great. It is nice and some I bet love it. We did not. It was acidly and the Rose was just bad. But it was nice and the area is super cute. The service was also not great. It was fine, but they seemed to act as though we should thank them for coming not the other way around. I found that off putting, but it is not like they were rude. They were just there and showed up when they wanted and left us waiting. The area around there is lovely and it is a super nice drive.

This place was absolutely incredible. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. We accidentally only booked a reservation for 10 when we had 18 people and they were able to make and find a space for us and treated us with the utmost respect and kindness. If you are in the area and have a chance to go I recommend. Incredible wine and venue as well :)

Okay this was a beautiful environment and the tasting experience was very cute. I’m sorry the wine was quite bad. I still give 4 stars because of the overall performance from the employees they were quite lovely. By no way would I express excitement or hype for any of the red wines. They are not quite drinkable outside of the winery. Sure, buy the tasting, you’ll see you won’t buy a bottle.

wine left much to be desired, the grounds were run down, staff shared bigoted views with us while we were trying to have as lovely of a time as we could. will not be returning.

I was really looking forward to visiting Briar Rose while we were in Temecula, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. While the house and grounds are lovely, you don’t get to see any of the inside of the house, which is a bummer because it was built to be a replica of Snow White’s house, but all you get to see if the exterior. Additionally, the tasting was expensive considering the quality of the wines. I’m no wine aficionado, but I do enjoy drinking wine and going to tastings, and these were simply not good. To top it off, our server was scatter-brained and clearly had too many tables to take care of, as she was constantly running from one table to the next with a basket of wine bottles and menus in her hand, couldn’t remember which wine was next on our tasting when she did stop by our table, and spoke so quickly when describing each wine that we genuinely could not understand her at times. I would not recommend making this a stop on your Temecula wine tour—the opportunity to see (the exterior of) the Snow White House was not worth the money and experience. There are many better options in the area.
