Great wines but beware of the restaurant on the premises. The food is absolutely terrible and a let down after the lovely experience at the winery. Just stick to the winery. Go have lunch or dinner elsewhere.
We visited the winery between Christmas and New year. It was quiet. We tasted 12 differents wines. They were all good. Thanks to Sierra for her great advice. I strongly recommend this place. And don't forget to get a box of chocolate chip cookies. Its the closest thing to heaven you can get.
My only complaint it about our stupid canadian government (specialty the government of Quebec and Ontario) who banned the importations of wine from USA.
Amanda was the best hostess! Great recommendations and made my birthday special!
Amazing time! Amanda gave us such great recommendations.
This was our first time going to Callaway and we were pleasantly surprised by how kind the staff was. We walked around the winery and followed into the gift shop. We were greeted by Isabella with warmth and kindness. She helped us pick out the perfect Christmas gift. We will be returning soon!
This review is lonnnngggg overdue, but I’ve been meaning to share how much we enjoyed Callaway Vineyard and Winery. It’s close to home for us, so my husband and I went for a date night and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff is warm, and the entire experience was just so relaxing. Even though it’s a winery, we notice families and kids enjoying the tour, which was really nice to see. We’ll definitely be bringing our little one with us next time. Highly recommend!
My wife and I were recently married at Callaway Winery in Temecula and wanted to share an honest review for future couples. The venue itself is stunning with incredible views, a beautiful ceremony lawn, a remodeled bridal suite, and a reception layout that looks like a magazine. Our coordinator Mariah was responsive, patient, and kind, and the all inclusive package made planning from out of state easier. However, several issues created avoidable frustration. The first major concern was the initial food tasting, which was very disappointing. Appetizers came in small black plastic cups that did not match the upscale setting, the meatballs and sliders were cold and dry, and the entrees were bland and overcooked. We paid extra to include our parents and Maid of Honor, which made the poor quality feel even worse. Although the second tasting was excellent and restored our confidence, the appetizers on the wedding day were still served in plastic cups despite us requesting repeatedly that everything be pre plated on trays. The bar was the biggest letdown. We were initially told there was a full bar but later found that the venue only allows beer, wine, and lower proof spirits. The premium bar still used very low tier brands, cocktails would have been served in plastic cups unless we rented glassware, and we only had one bartender despite confirming multiple times that we needed two. This resulted in long lines, frustrated guests, and inconsistent drinks because the bartender was free pouring everything. One of our groomsmen even asked about it and the bartender said, “Yeah, because I am baller.” The cocktail glasses we rented were barely used and the overall drink experience fell far short of what we hoped for. The wedding day itself was still magical with a beautiful sunset, great floral design from Soiree Floral, a packed dance floor in the Barrel Room thanks to our DJ, and a surprise hit with the coffee bar serving hand crafted drinks. However, the night ended with another unexpected frustration when we were told we needed to handle the full breakdown, cleanup, and clearing of the suites ourselves. Our package clearly stated that setup and breakdown of personal decor was included, so we assumed the venue team would take care of this. Instead, it became a last minute scramble to gather everything and figure out who was taking what, delaying us more than an hour and causing us to miss the start of our after party. Our guests loved the beauty of the venue and the food, but the bar line was the only consistent complaint. Overall, Callaway is a gorgeous place to get married with many wonderful elements, but the bar limitations, drink quality, overlooked presentation details, and the unexpected end of night breakdown responsibility were significant disappointments that future couples should ask very specific questions about before booking.
Fabulous winery - Daniel was amazing!!!
A really nice experience with great customer service from Laura and Ian. Good information regarding the wines.
I visited Callaway Winery, and the experience was outstanding. Amanda, our host, provided exceptional service, treating us like family from the moment we arrived. She shared a wealth of knowledge about wine and the winery, making the experience both enjoyable and educational. I highly recommend Callaway Winery and Amanda for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and informative wine-tasting experience.

Callaway is an amazing winery! The servers are extremely knowledgeable and their wine is absolutely delicious.
New to the wine club and went to pick up my wine. Took my non wine drinking husband with me. Erin was absolutely awesome! When she found out he was a non wine drinker her response was “challenge accepted” She was very helpful, knew her stuff and most importantly made it so fun! In the end we found some wines that my husband truly liked! Winning! Huge thank you to Erin for being awesome! (and getting a so called non wine drinker to sit and enjoy wine with his wife!)
The wine was incredible and the tour was perfect! Laura V is so personable and fun and knowledgeable, we loved our time with her!! Could not recommend the winery and Laura V. enough!!
Erika was fantastic! She took care of our bachelorette party of 10 and made the experience so fun and was so knowledgeable with her recommendations.
