Atmosphere is probably the best we’ve been to for food, tied with renzoni next door. Nice outdoor turf area where you can order food with live music when we went on Sunday starting at 1230 and a patio for primary outdoor seating. The turf area definitely has better views.

Service was fast and great.

Food was average. Chimichuri fries were banging and the moscato was good too. Temecula wine will never be able to compete with Napa, so if you’re on the hunt for “good wine” you’re not really going to find it around here.

Burgers and breakfast plate were mids. No salt on the eggs, breakfast potatoes weren’t that good. The burger was what you would expect, but the fries were great.

Another popular app we saw was the sourdough on red sauce. Couple of different tables got that.

Overall, will definitely be back for the views and atmosphere and probably some moscato

My favorite place to eat when in wine country. Awesome food and wine. The wine flights are a must. The atmosphere is very quaint. I highly recommend. I will be back.

I've been going to the Cave for several years, I drive 90 miles just to go there especially during the Holidays . Well during my recent visit in October 6th I noticed that service was not the same . Our waiter took so long to check on us, I do understand when they are busy I work in retail and I know how it gets sometimes but no one checked on us not even once after having our meals served . No one picked up our appetizer plates . Our table was full with empty / dirty plates . I'm not sure if they are short staffed but they Manager should be walking around tables and making sure everything is running smoothly. I really hope it was just a one time thing.

Pretty disappointed. For $50 a person, not impressed at all. And for a champagne brunch, I would assume the champagne was included. I had a private tour several weeks ago, which was amazing; ever since the experience has been worse and worse. Horrible customer service with horrible attitudes from employees. I even spent $1000 on a case of wine. I will not be returning. I even considered having my wedding here. No longer.

The food was exquisite! scallops, crab claws, the largest shrimp , all fresh. Then of course the standard brunch buffet fare: omelette bar, prime rib, and many other breakfast favorites. At $50 we felt we were getting value for our meal. We're going again and bringing friends.

Our experience was fair to good. Tara, our server, was great. But she needed more assistance with added items. For brunch. Had to ask for a lot of items not available. Normally, brunches come with free-flowing champagne. We had to pay for a second drink. It was an ok brunch.

The experience was overall a great one. We ate lunch here after completing a tour of the winery. The tour was amazing and was given to us by Judy. Our lunch was definitely worth it. We had the chimichurri fries and the short ribs. Both meals were shared and they were good portions. The fries were seasoned well, and the meat was tender. The short ribs were paired with mashed potatoes and green beans. Ribs were tender and juicy and the potatoes were fluffy. The green beans were a bit too undercooked. We had a glass of wine each which we purchased after the tour. Our waiter was very friendly, and checked up on us enough. We totally recommend this to anyone who's looking for to have a nice date out.

It was a very nice day. We took the cave tour and it was nice but not worth 150 dollars. The dinner was a very nice experience. The cave restaurant was a romantic place but music was too loud. The views were amazing!! Outside sitting areas with views were amazing. I would recommend this place.

First time wine tasting, we didn't know what to expect. Ambiance was amazing and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The cave tour was led by Dane who was an amazing guide and extremely knowledgeable, would highly recommend!! The wine was delicious and after seeing the dining area had to stay for lunch, the food was great!

I tried the pinotage, which I didn't particularly like. I would've ordered a sangria, but our server didn't tell us about it until after she took my order and already brought me my wine. I also tried the Torta Cubano, which was highly recommended by our server, which was very mediocre. The meat was a bit dry and the contents were sparse. Our server was fairly difficult to flag down when we needed her, and she charged us for wine flights we didn't order.

We had a phenomenal experience in the outdoor seating. Beautiful and relaxed setting where depending on where you are seated, you will get a little view of vines and the fields. The wait staff are very friendly and efficient friendly, and the food was excellent.

Would definitely recommend the winery and café for celebrations, small groups, and couples wanting a nice casual dinning experience outdoors.

All of the food for all in my party looked suburb and from the smiles, tasted as well.

I can speak for the Chimichurri Fries! Spectacular. The flavor of the meat, the crispy outside and soft inside fries with the seasoning, then the chimichurri sauce poured over with queso fresco. Divine. It's a large appetizer that could easily be a meal or shared plate. I had that as my main with the summer beet salad. Salad was delicious, the sliced peaches and yellow beats were crisp and flavorful. My only dislike, despite how much I love cheese and feta specifically, is that the whipped feta could be a bit less. The whipped feta was delicious, but the vegetables sat on a large bed of it.

For dessert we had the puff pastry with fresh berries and it was light, delicious, and freshing with the blueberry cream cheese filling. My parents had the mousse trio and said they were excellent.

Can't wait to return, try other dishes, and experience the more formal indoor dining inside the cave.

We decided to try this place out. Had a reservation on Saturday 9/21/24 for 6:45. We parked (parking lot is at bottom of entrance) there is parking close to entrance but we didn't know so we parked below, should have checked out first, there were a few spots available. As we walked up we started hearing music, there was a live band performing. We thought it was a private party, but it was not. This was the first night of having a live band. They have a dedicated area where you can sit and have a glass of wine and listen to the music. Pleasant surprise. Went to the hostess desk and got seated promptly. It was nice because we could hear the music without it being in your face. We ordered the beet salad with whipped feta and it was very good. I wasn't that hungry so I ordered the shrimp appetizer, it was okay. I didn't realize it was a fried dish. Husband had the pot pie and it was very good. We both ended up getting beer instead of wine because they didn't have a bottle of their tempranillo open for a taste and didn't want to spend $58 and not like it. I would definitely recommend this place. It was a very lively vibe and food was above average. Service was good. Will be back to try other dishes and enjoy some live music.
