I really love this winery. It's charming with great staff and a friendly owner. The wine selection is vast and delicious. I highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time here. Kristi was absolutely amazing in guiding us through the wine tasting. As I am 100% Italian I can confirm that the wines offered are absolutely delicious. Nothing to envy to Italian vineyards! Absolutely stop by if you want to make a tasting experience! 100% recommended.
Chapin Family Vineyards in Temecula is a true hidden gem, offering an intimate and welcoming wine-tasting experience with some of the finest handcrafted wines in the region. Nestled at the end of Rancho California Road, this boutique winery is known for its small-batch, high-quality wines and its relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
One of the standout offerings at Chapin is their Blood of Judas wine, an absolute must-try for any wine lover. This rich, velvety red is bold yet perfectly balanced, delivering deep notes of dark berries, spice, and a hint of chocolate. Its smooth finish and complex flavors make it one of the most memorable wines in Temecula, truly setting Chapin apart from other wineries in the valley. Whether you’re enjoying it in the tasting room or out on the patio overlooking the vineyards, every sip is an experience in itself.
The staff at Chapin is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their wines, making each visit personal and enjoyable. The serene, uncrowded setting allows you to fully appreciate the beauty of wine country without the hustle and bustle of larger wineries. If you’re looking for top-quality wines and an intimate tasting experience, Chapin is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
Another beautiful addition to the area. The scenery makes me want to live out here.
They have umbrellas that are adjustable, which made sitting in the sun not so bad. I burn within mins of being outside so the umbrella was a life saver.
Great staff, very friendly and knowledgeable of the wine selection. I am not a huge wine drinker but the wine was good, I had one favorite of the 3 that I tried. They had more limits to the wine tasting than other places I've tried, but the pour amount wasn't bad.
I would absolutely come back next time I'm in the area.
Great setting, great wine, great service. Nice for a couple or larger group.
Used to be such a great winery and now they are cheap on their pours and kinda run through things. Much has changed and not for the good since Lisa left.
Harvest Mooners absolutely loved the food / wine pairing! Way beyond our expectations for our party of 30 - excellent food, service and wine… Thank you
Excellent wines!!!! Great staff!
Chapin is my favorite winery! And, trust me, I’ve been to a lot! I am a red girl, and Chapin has the best reds anywhere both in this country and out.
Even though I live out of state, I have been a member for many years. Other wineries have come and gone, but Chapin is my staple! I visit several times a year to pick up my wine and enjoy a glass on their amazing deck. The property is absolutely beautiful, and everyone who works for this winery is top-notch.
I came out to this gorgeous mom and pop vineyard on 8/3 with my bestie, and we did the wine tasting and it was worth every penny. Our waiter Heston was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us great recommendations. I ended up buying 2 bottles of wine to get shipped back to Delaware so I could have a piece of California in my kitchen. The Syrah Rock Creek is my absolute favorite new red wine. For a white their vermentino is a perfect white wine. I am not a big white wine person I loved it. Whenever I am back on the west coast I will be coming back again.

Great people, good wine, highly recommend! Good view and not crazy busy all the time.
Great experience. Comfortable and spacious room. Friendly staff. Jacob, the Manager was very accommodating!!???
It has the BEST Wine in Temecula. This is coming from someone that owns Wine Stores in New York. Bought many cases for the Stores.
Great selection of red wines. This is a smaller winery and I prefer coming here than to the other larger wineries in Temecula. You can take your time enjoying the wine and chatting with the friendly staff without feeling rushed or being in a loud room filled with people. They also allow you to bring outside food to eat at the picnic tables around the tasting areas.
The left side of the driveway to Doffo. Definitely worth stopping by, decent reds as well. Dog friendly, as long as your dog is friendly. Experimenting with Tannat grapes, though maybe give it another year or two as they are only a couple of years into the experiment.
