Coin-op is the ULTIMATE spot to hangout in Old Town Temecula. The drinks here are great and the bartenders serving them are even better. The staff is happy and you can tell they enjoy working here. They’ve got bar food like pizza, hotdogs, burgers and the quality is great. This isn’t questionable pub food you may expect from a dive. The food is good and way faster to a quick bite here than any other bar. If you’ve got kids, the arcade games are a great way to entertain them. We always take visitors here and even if we show them other parts of old town we end up back at Coin-op.

I don’t live too far from the area. Everytime I’ve come here I’ve had an amazing time. My two young children have a blast here. Ryan is the most AMAZING bartender I’ve ever encountered. The foods also good. 100000000/10 recommend!
Tai is the MAN! Such an AMAZING bartender! Made the most incredible drinks!!! Thank you Tai!!

Awesome bar staff! The drinks and food are delicious- not sure what to get, they have great suggestions. The games and music are an awesome throwback. Go earlier on weekends to avoid the rush.

I think this place is struggling to find its identity. Is it an arcade, or just another bar? Half the games don’t work, and if you mention something to staff, they’ll just pass you off. The Game Lab in Riverside is a much better experience. The drinks are stronger, staff is more attentive, and they let people know when games are down. Coin Op… not so much. They have a long ways to go, and they should start by improving their customer service. Even the Security do a lackluster job, and are more concerned with flirting with customers than watching the door. You can literally walk right past them and they’ll be clueless. Bartenders are also rude, especially the one with the longish beard. I mentioned that a game was a down and he threw coins at me and said “here’s enough to not bother me again.” In summary, the vibes are off at Coin Op. If you want a lackluster experience, pay $20 for bad drinks, and lose your money on games that don’t work, Coin Op is the place to go.

I think their front bartender is lowkey racist. Bear with me, this is kind of a long one. I’ve been in here plenty of times and for the most part most the bartenders have been pretty cool! The bald one with a beard that usually works closer to the front is always kinda rude but last night (July 5th) was on another level. I went in with a friend who had never been in there before so I’m not sure if he has something against black women or if he had a different issue going on. Anyways, he took our drink order right away BUT before he would even make them he just says “money.” It’s super loud in there and I didn’t really hear him I thought he was asking a question about the drinks so I said “huh?” And he said “Money. Who’s paying?” I went to grab my money and said “oh, how much is it? That’s new you guys make people pay now before even making the drinks?” He continued with “yeah for certain people.” So I laughed and said “oh, and that’s us?” He said “yep.” I paid, set cash down for a tip He rambled on about something else I couldn’t really hear cause like I said it’s loud as hell in there but my friend told me DO NOT tip him, he made a comment about “I can be over here helping people with money.” I usually tip very well when buying drinks cause it’s cheap even when service is not the greatest because I now how it is to work with the public. Some days are super rough! But that’s unacceptable, and he just got himself no tip at all. Honestly a shame, some of the bartenders in there are super cool. Ty (sorry if I spelt that wrong) and the shorter thin white guys have always been really awesome! Just avoid the bearded guy up front

This is my favorite place in Temecula! We brought the family to meet up with my in-laws for Wine Tasting and once I found this place, I couldn't wait to come back. My kids (16 and 8) are having a blast and actually eating! The beer on tap is great. My wife loved the Strawberry infused Gin mixed drink. Pizza, garlic knots, fried pickles and mozzarella sticks are all amazing! Makes me wish there was one in Phoenix! Anytime we come through in the future, you can be sure that the kids AND adults will want to come back to Coin-Op Game Room first!

Good fun for a couple hours. Cool pinball machines and Skee-ball!
Restaurantji Recommends
Please for the love of god maintain your pinball machines. If you can’t afford to hire someone to maintain them every two weeks at the least, then just don’t have any at all. I understand wanting it for aesthetics but the longer these machines go undermaintained they will continue to deteriorate and be even more useless. Bar staff was incredible though, you guys are awesome.
Great food and drink
Just left here on a late-night Sunday. Found out the spot is family-friendly til 8 pm every day, and they have free games the last Sunday of the month. The margaritas are bomb and gluten free pizza was delicious!!! Janel is dope and we loved talking with her! We will 100% be back with the family.
My husband and I went here on a Sunday night for a super rare date night (toddler parents), and we were pleased to find out it’s family friendly until 8 pm! The games are super cheap. Free gaming on the last Sunday of the month. Margarita was 🙏🙏🙏!!! The gluten free pizza slaps - had to take it to go because it got late. But, the service was amazing!!! Janel, you’re great and we appreciated meeting you!!
The female bartender wasn't friendly. She was actually low key rude. We ordered a madori sour an a beer. She didn't even add the vodka to my drink. Went to play the skee-ball game an it took our money. When I let her know all she gave me was 50cents an was like she was by herself an had no one to help with games. Was excited to try this place but ended up disappointed.
