Charcuterie & wine, must I say more? Yes, actually - to compete in Wine Country, there needs to be something that separates each winery from the next, and here, it’s the exceptional hospitality of their staff. You’re not just a one-time customer stopping by on your wine tour, when you’re here, you’re treated like family. I appreciate that it’s “less busy” (in a good way), it’s a bit farther down the road, so they get less traffic than the first vineyards to be seen on De Portola. Come here if you want a relaxed and laid-back luncheon with friends, or a sweet date night with your beloved.

I’ve been coming here for over a decade, even before they did all their renovations a long time ago. It’s always been my go to stop every time we’re in Temecula. I like sweet wines so I love their Peach Sangria and the Dulce Bubbly- so crisp and delicious! Yesterday, we just got 2 glasses and sat outside with our dog and it was a perfect day. I used to be a member, but didn’t find it necessary to have so much wine anymore. Their deli is really good! I love their pizzas, but the Napoletana Ice cream was ok. They are super dog friendly and I LOVE that! After we’re don here, there’s a short connecting path to Frangipani so that’s always our second spot! They really should do some sort of collaboration:)

Amazing experience, very relaxed atmosphere, off the beaten path so less crowded! Great wine and amazing sandwiches.

I was kind of intimidated to stop in, yknow maybe run by cougar women on the prowl. But our host was Meli, and he let us sample the wines we wanted to have with lunch. Good thing, because the sweet bubbly my wife ordered was DRY so she changed her choice. The antipasto salad was superb.

The septic tank truck pumping out the tank right next to the front door was horrendous. Wine was good, many unique varietals. Food was just okay. I don't like the order at the counter and we'll bring it to you model.

The only winery I have a membership with.
Their sparkling wines (Dolce Bubbly, Cougar Bubbly, and Sparkling Peach Sangria) are unbeatable.

The views, the wine, the food and ESPECIALLY Jason with JK trivia #OnSaturday made this the BEST winery experience in Temecula hands down. Have been to at least 10+ wineries in the region over the years and this place is a delight.

Thought we would try another winery in Temecula. This place was so disappointing by astronomical proportions! Friendly customer service was nil!! Their red wines were subpar, and they did not honor what they said was their military discount!

They sucked and we will never come back!

We will gladly let everyone we know not to come to this winery!!

We encountered a gracious and helpful hostess with valued insights into the various wines offered. I'm a huge new fan of their Pinot Grigio. Wish I could get it in Maine! (Shipping, of course, is very dear).

Great way to experience Italian varietals. Try all the reds you can.

The deli for lunch and impeccable wine tasting....for several years now. The service is 6 star and the place is clean and inviting. Thank you Deb!

Great Winery to enjoy a glass of delicious wine or have a wine tasting. I myself prefer beer and so they offered me fresh n Flavorful Cider. They also offer cheeses and other finger foods. As a photographer the Sunsets are amazing.

Cougar Winery has one of the most BEAUTIFUL views in Temecula. Sit outside with your glass of wine and get lost in the scenery… time will fly by. Great place to relax, have good conversations, or even read a book… though, if you don’t keep your eyes peeled, you may miss out on the beauty of nature and the wildlife that roams freely throughout the valley.

This was my second time at this winery and I remain unimpressed by the bar area (for tasting) and food. My sandwich was 90% bread and our tasting pours seemed small for a tasting (they were the smallest pours out of the four wineries we visited that day). They have a good list of wines, but only really enjoyed TWO of the twelve tastings we had; our favorites being the Primitivo Port and the Full Monte, which was highly recommended paired with chocolate. Please note, I prefer bold red wines like Malbecs and refreshing whites like a Sauvignon Blanc, I normally do not gravitate towards ports or sweeter wines.

The sangria was also highly recommended, but after being disappointed with the Cougar Bubbly, the Dolce Bubbly, and the O.P.M. tastings, I didn’t want to waste more tastings on the sangrias and be disappointed with them too.

I do like the decor indoors and, again, the outside seating areas, but I would recommend finding one wine you like and sticking to that while enjoying the view. The tasting wasn’t worth it; despite one of the larger wine lists out of the four wineries we visited that day. The customer service was okay, not great, but I think that’s also because the tasting bar is so small and when you have multiple tours and locals coming in at the same time, the staff doesn’t have the space to move around very freely OR converse/be personable with visitors like us. :(
