Doffo Winery creates the best customer experience of all the wineries we’ve been too. We went to the brunch house twice recently and had an incredible experience both times. Our servers Justin and Jacob (wine) provided the best customer experience and were very knowledgeable. The quality of the wine, food, and their ability to create a welcoming environment are why we became members. I highly recommend Doffo!!

We had such a great time here over the weekend. The wine was great, we also loved looking at the old motorcycles. And Jacob is the BEST! He was fun and he knew his wines. It was such a treat, we timed the sunset perfectly, and we bought home a few bottles for later! We’ll be back!

Amazing spot with great food and wine. Very chill atmosphere. The place doesn't do reservations so you have to get there early. It fills up quick. Long drive from Escondido but we'll worth it.

Definitely one of the best wineries in the area. Most wineries mentioned not being kid friendly, but we were able to bring our kids in with no issue. Staff were friendly and service was fast. Their wine was definitely top notch and prices to match, but totally worth it when considering how delicious everything tasted. We ended up doing the Rosso & Reserve tasting both were great, but neither were superior to the other as they both had great selections. Overall if you’re looking for higher end delicious wine then this must be on your list.

Great bold reds. My favorite was a smooth fruit forward Zinfandel on the Roso tasting although all their reds and even the sparkling wine was outstanding. Jacob the cowboy was a wonderful server and was one we would want again. Coming back as soon as possible!
We had such a wonderful experience at the winery thanks to Jacob! From the moment we arrived, he was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain each wine in a way that was both fun and easy to understand, and his recommendations were spot on. Jacob made the whole experience feel personal and special—he truly went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves.
If you’re visiting, ask for Jacob—you won’t be disappointed! 🍷👏. Just look for the guy with the cowboy hat!!

It was in the 90s - probably the wrong time to have to dine alfresco. Given the fact that summers are continuing to be hot for longer time periods, I would think they would prioritise creating an enclosed, air conditioned restaurant. After all, the tasting room was air conditioned.
The cabernet sauvignon was drinkable; however, they have a ludicrous way of managing your food and wine ordering & billing separately. I've never been to any restaurant where this was done. It was annoying to have to wait in the sweltering heat for both waiters to show up, get the order, deliver the food/wine, wait for the bills -- yes two separate bills. It was nearly an hour before the wine waiter showed up. Which meant the wine arrived after we were nearly done with the meal.

Very nice more intimate winery. Wines explained in detail for the flight chosen. We were able to taste some additional items from reserve and desert wines. Excellent service, she knew the wines and the history of the family. Purchased a bottle of Syrah and Port. Highly recommend if you like finer wine and a more intimate less crowded setting.
