I'm grateful for Yelp in helping us find this place. It's off the beaten path in a mote industrial area, so you're not likely to run across it just by driving by. Do yourself a favor and find out anyway. Started out with terrific, friendly, and efficient service. Alex made us feel athome and welcome and was patient with our questions. Extremely accommodating and pleasant. Thank you, Alex! The food was so good we ate still talking about it the next day. I can see why carnitas are their specialty. I had the Canarios Carnitas plate, as I'm a big fan of good carnitas, and this set a new bar for me. Beautiful crispy carnitas served with rice and beans and pickled onions, and wonderful, fresh, hand-made tortillas. Alex offered to put a serving of skin on the side, and even suggested how best to enjoy it. I will remember and recommend this dish for a long time. My wife ordered the chicken flautas, which were also excellent. We will be back on our next trip.

Don't let the location fool you, this place is fantastic. I wish they served mixed drinks instead of just beer, but we go there often and recommend to friends and family because the food is authentic and delicious.

The service was excellent. Our server's name escapes me. He was on top of things and checked in with us frequently. We both ordered the birria tacos and the meat was dry. I have eaten there before and ordered the carnitas tacos they were amazing.

We stumbled onto this amazing restaurant my chance, on our way back from a track meet in San Diego. I'm so happy we did, the carnitas combo was seasoned perfectly. The trompico was so good and those onions are so delicious! I had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce and they were also very good. The staff were friendly and even though they were swamped they were fast and attentive.

We have been here 3x in 3 weeks since we discovered this gem. The food is great and they are 3 for 3 on excellent customer service. The establishment is clean and the decor is very Mexico! We will be regulars here.

Been trading off between the Verde Carnitas plate and the Huevos Rancheros. Couldn't decide tonight, so asked for a special order. And these did not disappoint! Thanks for great food as always!
We decided to try this restaurant after seeing positive review on Murrieta Talk. The place is small and the employees are friendly. Everything appeared to be clean. The food was mostly a hit. My son in law had the chiliquillas and thought it was great. My daughter and I ordered the 2 taco combo. We both got carnitas taco. Mine was good but hers was super fatty. Refried beans were very good. I gave a 4 out of 5 just because it was good but not great where I can't wait to go back.
Best Mexican food & service in town for sure and I definitely recommend you give it a shot to see for yourself.

I am skeptical about the hype of this place. When I tasted the carnitas, I felt like crying knowing that people that have recommended them have not tasted good carnitas. They were very fatty and everything- rice, beans, carnitas were bland. Akin to eating a cafeteria carnitas plate. The bathroom smelled like straight up sewage to the point I had to walk out. My husband went about 25 minutes before I tried to, and he said the same. The service wasn't great either, we kept having to flag them down for items they forgot. Would actually be embarrassed to say I went to this place because of how bad it was.

Service was great and atmosphere is surprisingly tranquil and inviting. The food was delicious except the handmade tortillas had a dampened smell and didn’t taste as good as handmade tortillas should have. Would recommend to stop by once just to try it. But the tortillas are definitely a 1 time try.

Such a great experience. Was looking for a place to eat while coming home from soccer tournament game. Found this hidden gem. We will be back. Great service, explain everything to us, checked On the table, the recipes are all homemade and to die for. Was a steady busy evening for a Saturday. Wish I lived closer to this location, added to the spot to visit when in Temecula. Great family owned restaurant.

Friday, March 1, 2024 (12:30 pm) Excellent Mexican food, Just discovered this place. I checked Yelp reviews first and the Yelpers spoke the truth on this one. Real deal mex here! Kind of a strange location for a restaurant but it's OK, I approve because the food is great. Salsa is fantastic too. Good quality all around. Parking around here during lunch hour was TERRIBLE! I had to drive around a few times before I could find a parking spot! Too many damn cars! My photos are below :
