The worst all the way around. Ordered soup. Didn’t get the cilantro and cheese and tortilla add ins. But didn’t get anything in my soup either few small pieces of chicken and very few veggies. So basically just broth that taste so old it was gross. Ordered mashed potatoes and gravy. Very tasty. But got a half full container of gravy for a very large container of potatoes.
And the young man in the drive thru window would rather be anywhere but there. Very snarky and sour.
So the only thing I ate was my salad. Which made me sick almost immediately after eating it.
Spent a lot of money for poor quality food and service!!!

This Temecula location always disappoints. The Murrieta Hot Springs is always spot on. Wrong orders, long wait times when you walk-in, staff seems miserable every time I go and I even witnessed the heavy set Hispanic lady be EXTREMELY disgusting and rude to a delivery person last visit. Corporate needs to really revamp this location asap. Im just going to avoid this one from now on and go to other competitors nearby.

Pull up to drive-thru, menu lights are off, it’s about 8:15pm and almost fully dark. Nobody responds for a bit, I say “hello” to the intercom, a female responds with ‘let me know when you’re ready.’ So I respond with ‘oh I’m ready.’ I pause for a second with no response so I continue “can I just get a chicken tostada” …I wait, there’s no response.. I say “hello?…” wait some more “hello?…” wait more. “Uhh hello?…” a guy responds with “give me a second.” I say “uhh… alright.” So I wait more.. after 3-4 minutes he finally take my order. I get to the window he is laughing and yelling stuff to someone in the kitchen, takes my card, no confirmation of price or my order. The whole time he’s just going back and forth joking with someone in the back, hands me my card, then hands me my food. Didn’t say a word to me at the window. Just an absolute awkward encounter. Been here 4 or 5 times and it’s never busy but always slow and bad service. I’ll drive the extra couple miles to Murrieta hot springs from now on,

This restaurant blows when it comes to going inside and being greeted by a smiling face. Ordering at a stupid tablet is dumb - I didn't come inside the restaurant to work!
Kid with the Braids helped and was nice but he just came back from break - no else acknowledged us....corporate needs to take a cut out of their paychecks not the employees at the restaurants

This is by far the worst El Pollo Loco. If it isn’t for it location I would not continue to come here. The quality of food is so inconsistent. The inconsistencies between good and bad is frequent. Sometimes good, sometimes just terrible. One thing that is consistent is the bad service from the staff. Today I bought a huge family meal. I specifically asked for additional salsa enough for the meal and my family. They said sure and as I drove up to the drive thru window I asked again and the window staff told me yes they’re in the bag. I asked to make sure as they never do. But this is big meal so I wanted to make sure there was enough. As I drove away I stopped to check the bag and found out they gave me 4 half filled salsa!!! So I called and asked the manager which happened to be the same person at the window recognizing her voice. She started counting the number of pieces and said 4 was enough! If I wanted more I should go back and asked for more! I had no time to come back!! I was speechless and upset! How can you say we got you and then not deliver what your customer asked for. It’s not that I bought a small meal and asked for in excess. I just wanted enough for the amount of food I ordered which wasn’t cheap either! To top it off when I got home I got small dried up pieces, half filled rice, soupy half filled beans and the tortillas were terrible! The food was so dry everything was falling apart! The tortillas were like crackers! You guys should be ashamed!! I was so upset I couldn’t eat the food! Businesses and franchises are closing down everywhere. You should be better or excellent treating your customers and providing quality service and food to survive. Especially when you keep raising prices but not raising quality.

Great place to grab a healthier option for a meal. A bit pricey, but usually fresh ingredients and great chicken. I love their Original Pollo Bowl combo. Great for on the go and more reasonable price. Make sure to get the salsa and pico!

I come here very often and get the classic pollo bowl, but unfortunately I have had to start going out of my way to avoid this location. Everytime I visit, I am ignored when asking about my mobile order. I only receive glances from the employees in the kitchen and it takes up to 30 minutes to get my simple order!
