This is not our first time there. Decent place, nice view and facility. The food was OK, not great, just OK. The meat board was low on meat - very thin cut, but they put a lot of honey and sweets. I don't like that they charged us a mandatory 20% tip and had an "additional tip" of the receipt. Also they had some other minor charge on the receipt, like 1% or so. I may tip more if they didn't do it but it felt they just abuse it by charging this mandatory tip. The better way would be to increase price and let customer decide how to tip.
WE really enjoyed our lunch and of course the views are great. We were there fairly early so the noise level was great as lunch progressed and more folks came the noise level increased. But overall good experience and the patio outside by the tasting room was a great place to hang afterwards. 👍🏼
Nice time and a good burger with fries. I really like their oaked Chardonnay. We are club members so great to visit again.
the wines are delicious and the Hamberger was fantastic and the pasta with shrimp us tasty and grand
Christa and Jose were super attentive and made the experience awesome! We got a nice table with a great view. The Pinnacle burger was really juicy, and the Seafood Trio was delicious.
Gotta love Mondays! Fewer people and lovely surroundings, delicious food and wonderful service!! Great time.
A beautiful view and absolutely delicious food! Our server was so good and so accommodating of our grandson! Definitely highly recommend a dinner or lunch here!
The service, food and ambiance were very satisfying for our 49th anniversary celebration! Would definitely consider going back to the Pinnacle Restaurant and Falkner Winnery again.
Pinnacle is the restaurant at Falkner Winery. It's a big open space with huge windows that look out on nearby valley hills. The first time I went, about four years ago, it felt a little sad and dated. But they've done some small improvements that have made a huge difference. White tablecloths, fresh paint. It feels so much nicer. The service and food have always been great. They're always friendly. My most recent dish was a seafood trio wrapped in parchment. Beautifully cooked. The crab cake sandwich is also great as is the burger. It's a great spot when you want lunch with a view but prefer to stay cool inside.
I can't say enough about this restaurant. The food was incredible and the service was impeccable.

We went here for lunch on a Saturday to celebrate my friend's birthday with a group of 7. The restaurant wasn't crowded and was perfect for what we were looking for. It was beautiful both inside and out with incredible views of the surrounding hills and vineyards. The food was OUTSTANDING! Everyone in our group had been to various winery restaurants in the area and they were all commenting about how this was the best meal they had ever had out here. We all can't wait to come back to try other dishes next time we are in the area!
Great food as always. I'm not sure why I didn't say anything when we were there, but the choice of music – – – aggressive rock – – – and the loud volume brought down the quality of the ambience significantly, This is becoming more apparent at even the nicer restaurants, where it appears the music is being played for the kitchen staff rather than the customers.
Fantastic food and service! The Brussels sprouts and lobster Mac and cheese are a must order.
our waiter Steve was absolutely fantastic...a lot fun and extremely wine knowledgeable...he was a pleasure to deal with...
Food overpriced and mediocre.
