If you are craving for Filipino food, this is one of the best Filipino go-to restaurants in the Murrieta and Temecula areas, although the service is lacking since they only have one register open all the time so people would wait in line for so long waiting to be served or checked out. It's a bit frustrating especially when you're in a hurry. Ambience is a bit loud so it's preferable if you order there and have it to-go since they have limited seating capacity for dine-in. But pretty much this place is decently priced and has plenty of options to choose from.

Terrible, they served leftovers food to next business day... That's not allowed by the Department of Health... WATCH OUT!!! Service was kind of slow..... I asked for fork/knife/spoon/napkins from the cashier before I was paying, she said inside, inside the plastic bag already, when I got in my car & open the plastic bag of food to eat, I don't have fork/spoon/knife/napkins to use???? Service SUCKED!!! Ambience is unsanitary, dine-in table near the meat section (inside the Island Pacific Supermarket).

I always find myself here after a few nights at Pechanga, my partner plays a golf tournament there yearly. I usually get the day to myself, gym, gamble, spa, pool, whatever... I always try to find a new spot to eat but end up here because why not, I always love eating Filipino food and its only 5-7mins away from the hotel. The service always great, Got a 2-item combo which usually satisfies my appetite add an extra $1 or $2 because most dishes are either pork or beef. I wanted the rice and pancit combo, everything was under $17 not bad, portions enough for 2. Ordered Dinaguan - a savory stew usually of pork offal and/or meat simmered in a rich, spicy dark gravy of pig blood, garlic, chili, and vinegar Fish Sisig - Fish seasoned with calamansi (lemon/lime/orange hybrid) onions and chili

We catered for a party. We didnt expect the lumpia to be bite size instead of regular size. Bbq pork and chicken arent too special either. My Filipino in laws' food are way better. Adobong pusit (squids) are good to me but my Filipino husband said it's too inky for his taste so I'm not sure about that. The price isnt cheap either. So over all we dont think it's worth it (for our family's taste) to cater for party. It's still good for a lunch or dinner once in a while if you crave a taste of Filipino food though

Worst place to ever order catering. They don't even answer their phone. I don't know how many times I've called. Unbelievable!

Chicken bbq was terrible, too sour. Vegetable was cold. But, it's typical "pwede na yan" pinoy attitude. Head chef and or manager should be ashamed.

Whenever we're in town, we always stop by to eat here. Food never disappoints except their veggie egg roll today 7/9. There's barely any veggies at all. We practically had fried egg roll wrapper. Service is great, which is a consistent thing with island pacific.

My dear friend and neighbor invited me here for my first time last weekend-6/17. This eatery is located within Island Pacific Seafood Market. When we first arrived all the tables were occupied and was set up in a small designated area for dining. It would have been nice to have the tables and floors cleaned periodically. The menu is extensive! What to pick? The service was friendly and we received the food rather quickly. We both ordered Pancit Bihon and Chicken Adobo but I added 2 BBQ Chicken Skewers. Fortunately, a couple of tables became available. The food was great and reminded me of my mom's cooking and made me really miss her since she passed in March. It evoked a lot of happy memories of my childhood growing up as a Navy brat. We both enjoyed our meals but could not finish because the portions were generous. Yay! I love leftovers! I was eyeing the baked goods in their bakery as we entered and that was our next stop.

Good quality. Kare Kare had oxtail, unlike other places that forego due to high cost. Crispy pata was HUGE; however, it was more like a crispy picnic roast rather than the lower shin/foot. Way more than the 6 of us could finish with everything else ordered. Lumpia we're kind of skimpy, but tasty. Ambiance was much nicer than I expected. Most combo restaurant/store places are dives. This place was actually nice, sit down, servers, beer, etc.

I'm giving this very casual full service buffet restaurant (aka "point-point" restaurant) 5 stars for their excellent daily grilled fish, which I order at least twice a week! Yummy AND healthy!!! If you're a seafood lover or pescatarian and enjoy bold, full-flavored seafood (fishy fish, not the bland heavily breaded kind) then I highly recommend trying PhilHouse, which is inside the Pacific Island Filipino Asian grocery store. They have a wide selection of seafood, including grilled (calamari, pompano fish, mackerel, tilapia, and milkfish/bangus), breaded and fried head-on shrimp (the head gives it the super shrimpy flavor), various fish stew, and fried fish. Dishes i recommend: 1. Grilled pompano--the meat is mild and has few large bones. Easy to eat, if you don't mind using your hands. The seasoning is subtle but tasty (freshly ground black pepper and other spices--garlic maybe?) 2. Grilled Mackerel--the meat has a bolder smoky flavor. Excellent when you squeeze lemon on it or use the dipping sauce provided. There are tiny bones that need to be carefully picked out. (I have a preference for the pompano, so i don't order this as much). 3. Ginataang Langka -- unripened jackfruit cooked in coconut milk seasoned with shrimp fry and ginger. Unripened jackfruit, when cooked, has a meaty texture similar to pork. This is a wonderful meal for pescatarians who miss meat. One of my favorite Filipino pescatarian dishes. 4. Sinigang Pompano- pompano stew flavored with sour/tangy tamarind and veggies. 5. BBQ chicken skewers (2 skewers per order) 6. Chicken Adobo--well seasoned and flavorful 7. Diningding--fish stew seasoned with shrimp fry and ginger. I think they use tilapia for this dish? This is very hard to find at Filipino restaurants, as it is a more complicated to make and made with a variety of exotic veggies (moringa leaves, bitter melon, okra, etc). You need to be very adventurous if you're not familiar with shrimp fry and bitter melon. 8. Ginisang Sayote -- Chayote squash sauteed with garlic, onions, tomatoes, oyster sauce (i think? some recipes call for fish sauce), and shrimp. They don't make this often, so i will learn how to cook it myself, lol. It's so tasty and super healthy!!! 9. The Beef Tapa-- sweetened fried beef strips is okay. 10. Bistek--beef strips cooked with lemon and onions is okay Portions are huge and enough for sharing. They have a ton of pork options (which I don't eat so I can't comment on them) and a few chicken and beef selection. A combo with a whole fish + classic entree is only $15.99 before taxes. I posted menu photos w/ pricing. Various sweetented drinks are also available, including: --Mais con Hielo (sweet corn w/ crushed ice and milk) --Halo Halo (Mixture of beans and fruits cooked in syrup w/ crushed ice, milk, Uber, and ice cream -- Melon drink--strips of cantaloupe with water and sugar --Buko Juice - young coconut sweet drink Sorry, don't know the name of the others... Huge parking lot.

Lumpia was delicious! Keep in in mind they are half size when ordering. Do good! I've had their pancit in the past and it's also delicious! I definitely recommend!

A decent spot for Filipino food and the 3.5 stars average rating is accurate. Nonetheless, I appreciate that this location exists. Bisteak tagalog (beef and onions): a bit greasy, but the jus has an essence of calamansi (citrus) combined with the soy sauce and garlic that eccentuates the tender beef and onions... 8/10. Tokwa't baboy (tofu & pork belly): a different version, as this is more of a stew; however it's flavorous, and the pork is tender. The tofu being soft and chewy works; as it traditionally is crispy, 8/10. Pancit bihon: nice subtle flavors, and I've got to recognize that the noodles aren't dry... 7.5/10. Kare-kare (beef in peanut sauce): somewhat thin sauce, but still captures the peanut flavor that engulfs the soft beef.. 7 5/10. Tapsilog (steak & eggs with garlic fried rice): sweet tender beef and garlic lover's fave rice... 7.5/10. Lumpia and bbq chicken/pork on the stick: standard flavored... 7/10. Sisig: is a fail. This dish has plenty of bell peppers, which overpowers the pork belly. Also, the pork belly is mostly composed of fat. I'd skip this... 5/10. The service is slow, which creates a long line of customers. At least the servers are friendly.

A buddy of mine told us they had opened up a Philhouse in Lake Forest & was really excited to check it out. We frequent Pam's & recently tried Manilla FoodMart both have their Pro's & Con's like any restaurant & Philhouse is really no different. Initially I was very impressed by the choices of food & how many people they had behind the counters to put your order together. The line was long but it moved in a good pace! PLUS!!! The food looked fresh & I had the standard to "taste test" choices. Chicken Adobo, Bistek or "beef steak" with a side of Lumpia Shanghai (of course)!! (BIG SIGHHHHH!!!) rather disappointed, I thought, "Do I have a cold" because I can't really taste anything? Nope, no cold or flu or COVID but the food was just bland. Not bad but just bland. Bistek is one of those dishes that varies widely from city to city & restaurant to restaurant & I prefer the style that "Crispy House" makes then maybe the old "Leiland" place. Pam's isn't great, it's a little on the oily side but it's definitely better than here in flavor & texture. The bistek here had no flavor & was just boiled meat & tough the adobo was once again bland & too many sharp bones within the mix. The Lumpia I think was just the store bought which they deep fried. Don't get me wrong I know places like this are built for mass & speed but the flavor was just not there at least for my 3 choices. In the end I'd actually give them another shot & will be back when it's not as busy. Maybe I'll try other choices like their BBQ & Afritada or Pork Adobo this time.

Ordered 150 pc shanghai lumpia, 2 lbs fried chicken skin and menudo for a pot luck. Service was quick and friendly. Food was good. Will be back!
