Filippi's Pizza Grotto Temecula

Fillippi's is my go to for Pizza or weekday take home lasagna. The food is good everyday kind of Italian. Not high end overpriced over spiced. Great for nice moderate priced evening dinner. All the family owned locations are consistent so you can be confident in same quality. I've been a fan for 40 years. The Temecula location has been here about 30.

Drove an hour for a rude lady to tell me they closed at 8. Google says 9. The lady said to look at the sign outside. It isnt the 90s lady, we look things up on the internet. Waste of my time. Wouldnt care if she wasnt rude

Took take out 'the works' and it had 2 peperoni per slice but they were each 4 to 6 peperoni stacked in one spot and the toppings don't cover much of of edge crust anymore. Been eating this pizza for 22 years - really going downhill

My boyfriend took me here for the first time ! Love the vintage vibe / look & the beautiful mural on the wall ! Very cozy and family feeling.

Food was great, and I really wanna try almost everything on the menu ! The cannoli’s were also to die for.

The service was just awful though. Hostesses make you feel like you are unwanted and that you’re ruining their day by walking inside.

Our waitress was the on the older side with black / dark hair. Smiles and is friendly on the surface but has terrible customer service skills ? She walks away while you’re still talking to her, she’s super slow and will dissapear when you ask for a refill or a to go box, or the check.

One more thing to mention is they have a lot of flies, please consider getting a fly fan for the doors ?

BUT the busser working yesterday afternoon was hauling ass, and working to pick up the slack from everyone else. So amazing job !!

We had the family feast and the family spaghetti, lasagna and ravioli. There were 6 of us and there was way more food than we could eat. Everything was very good and the service was great.

The pizza dough was old. The artichokes came from a jar and looked brown. The tomatoes on the pizza were last week's product. Couldn't eat the pizza. I ate here20 years ago and I think I ate the same lasagna
