My fiance and I walked up to the barn as it said it was open at 10am. We are early risers and wanted to get a good start on the day. We were excited to feel the small town vibe of this winery and we're hopeful of the experience. We were unfortunately very let down. We walked in the barn and it reeked of cigarettes, there was a black cat eating his food in the barn and trying to rub on our legs while we were tasting. The owner was the old farmer type that had zero regard for hygiene or cleanliness. There were fruit flies in the very first pour and his solution was to pour it out and pour another glass without rinsing the glass. All the wines appear to have been sitting on the counter with a towel over them to prevent the flies so this is obviously a known issue. The wines were gross, all of them were brown and seemed to have turned while sitting in the barn. Will never return to this establishment. I advise you avoid this place unless there is a change in ownership.

My husband and I invited our friends to visit Foot Path Winery in Temecula because their website shows it to be a very well-kept place that also sells organic wines. So we decided to go and check it out and to our surprise, we found that we were in the wrong place because the place looked like a junkyard, very dirty and the owner was very rude and ill-mannered. The wine we tried didn't have the color of wine, it was brown and I wondered how the wines were made, if there was any kind of hygiene. I'm sorry but the place should be inspected and the owner should be fined for selling wines in those conditions. People, don't believe what you read on the internet because this place is a pigsty. ?

Not the best experience. The person at the wine tasting was very rude and confrontational. The tasting room was very dusty and dirty. The wines were unimpressed and plain. Won’t be going back.

Sell, let someone else run the place. Anyone else. I tried to engage the owner in a simple conversation. He was caustic. A miserable man. Sir, sell this place to someone who will love it and carry on your dream. You are no longer interested and the property shows it.

Thanks Dean for your hospitality. Quiet night. Grapefruit are the best we have ever had! Can't wait to taste the unfiltered honey!?

Awful! Tasting room is a dirty old barn. Smells like an ashtray. All wines taste same. Winemaker is bored; gives us the impression he doesn’t wanna be bothered

I probably shouldn't write this review because I want to keep it a secret, but Foot Path is one of my favorite places in Temecula.

If you like the corporate winery's you should probably go elsewhere. The wine is organic, they serve it in a barn, and it has major vibes of what Temecula was like maybe 30 or 40 years ago. You can tell it is more than a business, it's a passion project. I hope this place never changes, and I hope it doesn't get too busy!

Not a good experience. Very unfriendly place. Wines were subpar. Place smelled like an ashtray. Do not recommend.

We stayed here in our camper and decided to go in for a wine tasting to wind down after pulling up. The property has a charm to it and feels more relaxed than a busy upscale winery, which I’ve never been a fan of. I was also never a fan or reds before visiting here, and after a tasting I have 3 favorites, all reds. Truly happy we stumbled across this winery, the flavors were incredible and we felt amazing after our tasting instead of the usual sluggish and drained feeling after visiting other wineries in the area.Thank you for such a pleasant experience!

This was the coolest “ma and pop” winery I’ve ever been too! Felt like you were at home tasting delicious red wines. You can tell Deane puts a lot of love and effort into his wine. He and his wife make all the wine in-house, themselves. Deane was awesome and loved talking to him and hearing his old Navy stories. If you’re looking for a chill afternoon and Deane’s hilarious wit, Foote Path Winery is your perfect destination.

A winery doesn't have to be large to be good. This small winery produces very good wine. Worth looking into.

We tasted on a Sunday afternoon. We were the only ones there. Enjoyed his dry humor and his wine.
