We are members of the wineries club and frequent the restaurant monthly. Today I ordered the Ossobuco. The mashed potatoes were cold to warm. The Ossobuco was warm on the perimeter and cool to the touch in the middle. Obviously, it was heated prior to serving. I'm very disappointed, to say the least. Hopefully this will get forwarded to the proper person responsible for the kitchen staff. Our server was very busy and seemed put off when I asked to have to potatoes heated. I hadn't tried the Osso yet only to find it was very cool in the center.

My wife and I enjoyed our dinner at Gourmet Italia. We last dined there on our second date 21 years ago. The environment changed, but the food was still excellent. We were especially appreciative of their paying attention to dietary needs (they had gluten free pasta options. I overheard another table where the server discussed a diner's food allergies. The price was very fair. Service was very good.

We found this gem about 14 years ago and come back every so often when we are in the area. The food has always been very good and has a nice ambiance. Last night our party had the linguine pescatore (special), squid ink pasta with scallops (special) and veal Marsala. We started with the artichoke appetizer special. The app was the only miss of the night, the artichoke wasn't cooked long enough or was old so there was zero meat that came off and the the heart part was still pretty firm. It was stuff with bread crumbs, so that was all you really ate. The entrees were all very good and enjoyable. We have the pistachio profiteroles and a lemon tart thing for dessert. Both were good, but I preferred the lemon. Our server was fantastic and helpful with menu selections.

This place was highly recommended to us. So we decided to go there for dinner and we had a wonderful experience. The waitress was super nice and the ambience was amazing. They had a piano player there and we sat near the bar area. We got the calamari as an appetizer and it was one of the best calamari we’ve had. We also got the baked ziti and the chicken piccata both were so flavorful. Truly the best Italian in the area. The owner even came over and made sure everything was good very authentic Italian and definitely our new favorite spot.

Loved our waitress. Initially when we arrived we were greeted by the hostess who was very friendly. She turned to a server and asked if she could seat us in his section and he declined. I felt as though he judged us as if we were not going to tip! Hope that's not the case. Also made note that we were celebrating a birthday. Hostess must not have passed this along to the server because nothing after was ever acknowledged. Overall was a great experience, but the initial interaction left me wondering!

Food very good, however, they were very busy and had large groups so everything a little slow. We were seated close to the bar in the new area, and it was pretty noisy, especially with large groups. However, we will return.
