Best service overall that I have experienced in the last 20 years! Not since New York's Russian Tea Room in 2006. And Gourmet Italia's food is always excellent! The best dining experience in the entire Temecula area!
Food was very good and so were the drinks. Server was knowledgeable and ambiance was great!
We visit Gourmet Italia every time we are in Temecula- best food- from entrees to desserts! Can't wait to go back!! Service always is terrific and never disappoints:)
If this was our first time dining here we would not come back. We had reservations and waiting 45 minutes to get seated. We had to ask for the bread and it took 3 times than normal to get our appetizer and main course. Our waitress worked her butt off but they had too many diners and not enough help. Understand this is normal for a Saturday night. Will not be back on a Saturday. Very disappointing because what we experienced was not anything we have experienced in the past.
Great service and food. Had the pasta seafood special and date ordered the halibut with vegetables. Both dishes were perfect and their Syrah wine was just right compliment to our meal. The appetizer of calamari was yummy! We had the chocolate temptation for dessert it was delicious and beautiful.
Been here multiple times, only had one bad experience out of the 20+ times that I ate here. Food is as authentic as being in Italy.
Great ambience, food and place to celebrate a special Day or Birthday...like we just did last night for my wife Debbie! Thanks to the Gourmet Italia team for making her day so special!
We were put at a table next to a door, it was cold out, therefore, every time someone entered or exited we were getting struck by cold air. The band that was going to play live music started setting up within 15 min of us being seated, right next to the band, with the speaker directly in front of our party therefore our ears. As they were setting up in an area too small for a 5-6 person band and our table, 2/4 of our party were bumped several times. When the band started playing, way too loud for the space the “host” turned on these horrible blue spot lights that were directed straight into my eyes. Having had enough, I went to speak to the “host”. I quote, “what do you want me to do about it” in a condescending tone, followed by, “ other people really enjoy the music”. I very quickly stated that I enjoyed music too, but not everything else that was happening to us. What you can do about it is to never place a table next to a door and next to the live band. I know you are thinking they comped us something, gave us a dessert or at minimum apologized...nope.
My favorite restaurant of all time. Everything is good. My go to is fusilli al filleto but I've had tomahawk steak, pastacio crusted veal, it's literally all been amazing. Never a bad experience here

I come twice a month on either Friday or Saturday for dinner. Tonight 12/12 we had a reservation at 6PM & arrived at 6:03 to a line out the door. The host decided she was seating in order of the line and not reservation. The couple in front of us had a 6:15 reservation and was seated before us, we finally get to the host stand and have to wait not being seated until 6:42!! Even people behind us with more than 2 people are being seated before us because she's seating 4 top tables and waiting for a 2 top to open. I get that, however my reservation was at 6! It's not my fault you didn't save a 2 top for me that I reserved ahead of time. Isn't that the point of a reservation? She said there's nothing she could do, however there is. When there's a line you go through it and check people in upon arrival that they are in the restaurant, ask them to step aside and seat according to the reservation time. I have worked this business before, there's no reason I wasn't accommodated. The two girls behind me asked if we had a reservation, they said so did they, and when we said yes they left the line went to the front and were seated with pasta on the table when we finally got a table after them, literally right next to them. Also when the incompetent host sat us she said she would return with menus and water! After waiting almost an hour she still couldn't seat us with menus. We were there a few weeks ago in November when she was being trained by the seasoned host we were used to and she clearly needs more training! This will no longer be our date night restaurant twice a month, and else are wine members at Thornton looking forward to trying poggio but at this point refuse if that's the people they hire. We will never return and tell everyone we know not to as well.

We have been here so many times. I'm from the East Coast, NJ area so we are picky about our Italian food and this place never misses. I end up getting one of the specials because the dish is always too good to pass up! Our server Samantha has taken care of us many times and she's excellent, so excellent my husband says he feels bad🤣 she makes you feel like you're her only table and never misses a beat. She needs a raise! My kids are obsessed with her !

We chose Gourmet Italia at random since we happened to be in Temecula at dinner time. What a fortunate choice! The restaurant is warm and cozy, the service good, and the food outstanding. We rarely pass through Temecula at dinner time but will return when we do and, if opportunity presents, we'll do lunch there.
Best Italian food around!
