What a great sushi find! Being new to town trying new places is inevitable and finding winners is always such a joy!!! Everything was so lovely and yummy. Additionally, the other patrons were open and politely conversational which always makes eating at the sushi bar more fun and interactive; the chefs were also interactive rather than stone faced and robotic which often is seen as places get busier. The atmosphere reminded me of being in Japan where the sushi chefs and staff...
Having moved from Maui I was afraid of not finding any quality sushi in Temecula. Hana Sushi proved me wrong. They serve quality fish that is almost as good as being in Hawaii. And they serve my favorite: unagi (served as a Dragon Roll). Highly recommended.
Hana has been our family's go-to sushi spot for years. Fresh fish, good selection, large portions.The mandatory 20% gratuity was off-putting. If you want a good tip, then provide exemplary service. Be transparent and let customers know about this policy.
