Amazing food.

Place is located in the Old Temecula plaza so the parking can get packed, mostly street parking nearby.

I came here to try their Cubano sandwich, beef empanadas and potato rellano. They did sell out of their potato rellano which is seasoned potato balls but I got my empanadas and a spicy Cubano with a side salad. The salad was good, fresh and crispy with a vinaigrette dressing. The Cubano was good, bread slightly burnt at the bottom when they left it on the presser for too long. It was still good, the roast pork and ham was juicy and the mustard was not overpowering the spicy mojo sauce. The pickles gave a nice crunch and the melted Swiss cheese went well with the rest.

The empanadas I got were the original beef with seasoned ground beef and chicken mojo which was filled with shredded chicken in mojo sauce and melted cheese. I liked the beef more but both were good. The sauce that came with them goes well with both.

The staff is nice and the place is clean but dim inside. Water cup is self served and you order on the register before seating yourself.

Came in to get the only 2 things I get from here, and I cannot explain how shocked I was that the empanadas were significantly smaller than usual, while the price did not see any decline. This will be my last time here.

Enjoyed the food. For those who like cold water, it is served warm here. Price is reasonable for the dishes they serve.

Havana Kitchen serves what might be the best Cubanos I've had outside of Cuba. Their array of sangrias, coffee, pastries, and plantain dishes really serve to round out the fare for a perfect lunch / cafe spot that complements their relaxed atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the wait was horrendous during this visit, taking >1 hour to get our food after ordering. I'll give the benefit of the doubt that this is atypical, as I visited during a busy holiday weekend, but something to be aware of if anyone is looking for a quick bite.

Still, the Cubano was well worth the wait.

❤️🇨🇺 Love this Cuban spot! The red + golden glow makes it super cozy and relaxing.

Every little detail in the décor—from the artwork to the meaningful words on the walls—really captures the authentic spirit of Cuba.

The food is fresh and light (never greasy!), and the coffee ☕✨… wow, so rich and aromatic—I couldn’t leave without grabbing two bags of beans! Friendly staff + cute little details (even a cat 🐱) made my visit extra special. Definitely coming back!

I've been to this place twice and both times we've been dissatisfied with the service. Both times waited over 40 minutes for the food and the staff is young and don't have any customer service.

Love this place the girls who work here take good care of the people here. I have a hatred for cilantro and they always remember me when I come in and that means a lot to me.

Greatness takes time, so come when you have some leisurely time to spare. The wait can be lengthy, but the quality is always worth it! The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the coffee bar is as excellent as the meals. Havana Kitchen is always on the agenda when we're in town 😊

I usually love coming to eat here, food is good, but the service always lacks. Today I came in, they only had two kinda of empanadas, ordered one (oscar)simply because thats what we came here for and it was really good. I got a green tea that tasted slightly old, and we also ordered some tostones. When we asked for lime for them, they brought out brown dried up limes. I took them back and asked for different ones because I wasn’t going to eat old limes. The lady came to my table and said they were out because all the limes look like that and she could bring me something different. I told her there was nothing else and she asked if we wanted mojo. My mom said no because she doesn’t like mojo, so she proceeded to say okay then ill take the one on your table, we handed it to her and she walked away saying “i dont know what you want me to do about that” and threw away the mojo. We simply came to enjoy our lunch, and we spent a good amount of money for them to not have what we wanted and be served a plate of attitude. I’m not sure if I will be back because even though the food is good, especially the cubano sandwich, but the service is always slow and today was just awful. Kyla at the register was a sweetheart, just sad the other girl’s service was off with us.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Poor girl at the cash register had to box to go meals, make the coffees, take the orders, bring food to the tables and answer the phones.
They did not have beef, chicken, whole milk or avocados. We waited 40 minutes for four coffees. We are done going to this business.
