HoBo's BBQ

Shows online that it open at 11:00 a.m. today... I came by at 12:15 pm, doors were locked but the lights and TV was on. Tried calling and no one picked up...A little frustrating because I live 30 minutes away. I literally only left the house to come here and try this place. I've been watching it for a while through ads that were mailed to my home. I don't think I'll give it another shot as I don't want to drive 30 minutes to be ghosted again.

Reviews seemed mix but idk what the hell people have to complain about here. This place is legit! Cool atmosphere with a sports bars connected next door. Food was excellent and the sauces were all really good. Excellent bbq, and if you’re just wanting some fries and a couple beers this is the spot for you. Definitely get the ranch and fry sauce.

Since they recently are under this new owner who’s says he’s 30 year experienced managing restaurants, I can see a big change! Mr Thomas, thanks for being amazing with my pet and definitely, you and your workers make this place very friendly for everyone. I do like to spend time at the bar and ask for my bbq lasagna! Is it Guy Fieri recipe really?

First time trying this place, not a time of day given to me as the first customer in the door I understood that there was a large party order but other people came in, had ordered and gotten their food, and I still have not gotten a menu yet. three phone orders later still no interaction as I'm sitting here at the bar I understand a large order has come in but you need to take care and prioritize customers that are physically there and communicate with them. I will not be returning to this establishment, was looking very forward to try it as my first time, but I was never offered a menu so I couldn't try the food. :(Although the restaurant was clean the lack of service was horrible!

Excited to try them because of seeing on TV. Should have read the reviews first. HoBo's is just as bad as everyone says. Took some of our meal home to try to salvage, but threw it away instead.

Food is not like the Tv show depicts. The workers/cook told us the brisket meat is pre slices and reheated as is. Not brisket that is a whole piece and cut to order like the show depicts. Ordered takeout. Place was literally deserted but still took longer than estimated. I was the only one there and didn't see any other customers. They seemed upset that I was there. Meats were dry, sides were bland, portions were small. The sauce was decent. The eating area was clean and neat at least. Won't be going back ever. Very disappointed in the food considering how pricy it was. Get twice as much for cheaper at Chili's and it's better.

The food was great. Very Tasty Ribs. The wings were good. Kevin, our server, was very helpful and had a very pleasant attitude. The food was ready in about 5 mins. I can't complain about that. I would eat here again next time I'm working in the area.

Go HERE!Stuffed jalapenos, and meat platter sampler is all you need! The platter had chicken, burnt ends (my favorite), ribs brisket... and 3 sides. The "loaded " fries were good too, but we didn't need them... so much food

Friendly service and great food. Our server, Kevin, did a great job and was Johnny-on-the-spot with anything we needed. This was our first visit and we'll definitely come back.
