fantastic food! so well-made and generously portioned the chef makes each order to your spicy specifications. friendly atmosphere! only downside: eating off cheap plates and using flimsy plastic cutlery. bring your own hydro flask of water! you’ll need it and they charge for water. outstanding meal! can’t wait for leftovers tomorrow!
We got tandoori chicken, seekh kabab in a gravy!!! The goat curry had the same taste as the gravy given in the kababs. They were supposed to be dry appetizers. The gravy is also too oily, with big pieces of bell peppers. Definitely used ketchup and/or salsa in the gravy.Where in the world did they learn to make such horrible food? The only people who are giving high reviews have NO idea about Indian food. What a waste of money!!
THERE WAS A BOLT ? IN MY FOOD!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!! UNSAFE AND UNCLEAN!
So far have loved everything I have tried. I am really into the Chole Bhature, my recent new favorite. Always have had a very pleasant and friendly experience!. Thank you!
This place is great, all the awards were well deserved. The food is actually great and the staff is pretty great and friendly too.
Not happy with order. Ordered mild, got super hot. Upset both my spouses and my stomachs. Needed Prilosec due to extreme heartburn. If your ordering mild, Recommend you taste your food before departure to make sure it's what you ordered or pay the price... an upset stomach. Also, the women whom took the order was none to friendly...

Recently moved to this area from LA and was looking for a delicious place like our fav spot in LA. This place is absolutely amazing. The flavors are perfect, the levels of spice and accurate, and the employees were so nice. If I could give more stars, I would. Highly recommended!
Ordered through Uber Eats. Chicken in the tikka masala tasted old and was hard. Other dishes lacked flavor, which I've never experienced before with Indian food. Very disappointed.
Went here for a dinner meet up with my teen grandkids and they really like this place. This is first time for this type of food for me and I was surprised what was on the menu as I had their shrimp while the kids had masala meals. I am going to get one next time because it was good to try some of theirs. They only serve it takeout style but we were able to sit down inside. I can’t say much on the service as it was all in bags for “to go” so only. This was a pretty busy place.
Didn't like the service . . . felt unwelcome ? then they forgot my nan bread ??? never again my money better spent elsewhere

On a drive back to the home front we decided to stop for a quick lunch. We had no idea what we were going to eat but drove right into the area where Masala Craft was located. Upon entering you go to the cashier to order your food and seating is open for indoor dining. I went with palak paneer which came with rice and naan. We were asked the spice level we wanted for our dishes and I do not like spice too much but the hubs ordered lamb biryani and got his medium. I also ordered a hot masala tea and the mango lassi. The tea was super hot and just the right spice. The food all tasted very good. Service was also very good. It was clean and bright inside.
Current operation is definitely an upgrade over the old one.Killer Chhole Batura. Really glad I went with it over the Pooris.Order the samosas without the chaat powder (I think), or on the side. I was fine with it, but the rest of my group was not. Will be back to check out more of the menu.
Be aware that the food here is way over-prices ($11 for a chola bhatura (chick-peas) is just ridiculous - it normally is around $4 to $5 everywhere else). On top of that the food is watery and insipid. Those giving this place more than 3 stars seem to be clueless about what good Indian food tastes like. Unfortunately there are not many options in Temecula - but Mantra would be my choice for Indian food in this city (even though I would put their food at 3 stars too). Stay away from this place.
