My family and I had an amazing experience at Islands in Temecula. The website said they were open until 9:30, but when we arrived, they had technically just closed — it turned out to be a Google listing issue. Even so, the manager Mike went above and beyond to make sure we were still able to come in and enjoy our meal.

I was treating my family that night, and Mike made us feel completely welcome. His kindness and hospitality were top-notch from start to finish. We’ve been coming to Islands for years, but this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had.

Was delicious loved there turkey burger

I love this place so much so it sucks to have to leave a bad review but this was the worst service we have ever had here. We sat in the bar at around 5:30 ish and our waiter, tall guy with curly hair and purple shirt, didn't even introduce himself just jumped right into asking us what we would like to order and made us feel super awkward like we were bothering him. Welp, it didnt take us long to figure out that us being there was keeping him from flirting with the cocktail waitress. He never checked on our table except when we had to send the food runner to go get him or when we had to flag him down from across the room. As im writing this he is standing behind the bar chatting up the waitress. He is very distracted and needs to be reminded that guests come first and to not treat the restaurant as his dating pool. I honestly could have overlooked it if he was able to stay on top of his section but he chose to flirt instead of work. Very disappointing.

Food service and drinks all 5 stars. Visited with family and will definitely visit again
