I’ve been coming here for years but now I feel like their cutting back the food portions in foods. The burritos are less filling inside now some ingredients are not inside the burrito anymore like sour cream and guacamole but yet their charging more and your getting less
Yesterday, on 5/04/2025, I decided to try something new during my lunch break. Everything was good until I kept eating and noticed I was chewing something hard! I spit it out and what I saw left me in complete shock! A PIECE OF METAL IN MY FOOD…. I immediately took my place back to the counter and asked for my money back. So disappointed that this had happened during my first visit. If I could’ve given 0 stars then I would.
The only place within a 2 mile radius that isn't crazy trying to charge 4 dollars for a taco? Average is 2.50 and that still crazy but I guess it's 2025. Asada tacos... condiments on side. ... could have used some seasoning on the meat if you want to be real...but portions where good! I think I even took some pictures. .. overall experience was a 3 but the customer service was cool so I give it a 4. I'm not lying. Check out the average for one taco in this area...
Very good service, very friendly. Good is good and large portions. We got the machaca breakfast burrito and the meat was so fresh and not dry. Our doctor is in the same parking lot so now we make it a point to have breakfast there. Highly recommend this place.
Good service good food what else can i say the food speaks for itself
I had to set down my fork and tell you all this is the BEST Mexican food in Temecula. They have never disappointed. As long as I live in these parts, I’ll be a loyal customer.
Chimichanga should have been fried more.
This was our first visit to this taco shop. The Restaurant was cleanish but dated. I say “cleanish” because the tables were mostly clean but the floor was a mess. The Employees were friendly and helpful. There were a few people eating inside and a couple at outside tables. We ordered cheese enchiladas ($10.50), an al pastor burrito ($11.99) carne asada fries ($14.99) A side of rice 1/2 pint ($3.75) The cheese Enchiladas were delicious, they had lettuce on top which we love. The Al pastor burrito was delicious meat was perfectly cooked. The carne asada fries were on point. Great flavor, meat was perfectly cooked. They have a salsa bar there with several choices of salsa. A couple HOT and a mild one. We took containers of all to try and none of the four of us cared for any of them. The guacamole was flavorless. We paid $56.26 for the four meals.
Three times I've ordered a burrito with no cheese. Everytime I take a bite it's full of cheese. Three strikes, you're out! I'll never be back again.
Food was decent at best, only came in because of 1.99 taco special on window only to be told it ends at 6 pm. They have street tacos a few blocks over that are much better on the corner

Please wear gloves when making food. It grosses me out when I see people make it with their bare hands
Great tacos, great prices!

Los Jilbertos only serves the Hispanic community, other races are not welcomed! Found this out the hard way. Tried to eat there and was stone cold ignored standing in front of the line. The Hispanic women behind me was ask for her order, like I wasn't even there. When I ask the young man behind the counter to order he walk off and came back only to help another Hispanic customer again. I just realized I wasn't welcome and left the establishment. Leaving them with "I see how this is, no thanks" I have heard this from others since. There is no excuse for this and will never order food here.

The service was spot on. Restaurant was clean. But the food has zero flavor outside starch. We ordered a bacon breakfast burrito and chorizo breakfast burrito. Both were mostly potato, little amount of cheese, little amount of eggs, and the chorizo was beef (beef chorizo requires a lot of seasoning unlike pork). Unfortunately we won’t be returning. Everyone is struggling financially, why wouldn’t you present your best product during the inflation? I could have spent the same at a grocery store and made better tasting breakfast burritos.
