Juan's Rotisserie Chicken

The chicken & sides are good, especially the potato salad. I heard others referring to this as Juan Pollo & noticed I saw the previous sign used to say “Juan Pollo” I love Juan Pollo, but I was under the impression this was a different rotisserie chicken place. In any case it is the same taste/ quality as Juan Pollo and I still love it after 25 years!
They do run out of chicken and sides frequently, and no the service isn’t stellar but it’s good food for a decent price .

Disgusting!!!

Everything is bland and flavorless.

I ordered the dinner which is completely overpriced for what it is. The rice was dry and the top of the rice was hard and crunchy. Makes me wonder if it had been sitting under a heating lamp for hours.

Beans- bland and disgusting.

My potato salad was warm… 🤢

And the chicken was okay.

The salsa wasn’t quite right either.

Everything about this meal was terrible. Skip this place and go to El Pollo Loco, or buy a whole Rotisserie chicken and sides and Cardenas, Costco, Sam’s or literally anywhere else. It’ll taste better and it’s more bang for your buck.

This was the worst meal I’ve had in a long time.

I’ve been a long-time fan of Juan Pollo and have always loved the chicken and potato salad, but I had a really disappointing experience at the Temecula location.

While waiting for my order, I saw a staff member either put something in her mouth or touch her mouth, then go to prep food without visibly washing her hands. I mentioned it to the front counter, and they said something to her, then she walked in the opposite direction and appeared to be washing your hands, so I could not see the whole action.

What bothered me most was the attitude afterward no apology, just cold service and my food being put down with more force then necessary onto the counter. It left me uncomfortable and unsure if my food was handled safely. I didn’t eat it and won’t be coming back.

Big hand five to Juan. Very nice guy who took our order . His customer service was just as good as the food! Nice enough to ask if we wanted some water when we realized we didn’t order any drinks. He brought them to us and was just over all a very nice guy! Will definitely come back to this location . 6/30/2025

First and last time I buy this chicken in Temecula ,brought it home and it was so dry, difficult to swallow it ,

Was craving a French dip from somewhere else but went here instead because I happened to be buying dog food from target. I ordered a lunch meal to go and waited for a short while in their nicely air conditioned restaurant. When I got my order I said gracias and on my way out I held the door open for an old lady and she told me I was kind and blessed me. So overall a nice wholesome experience. However when I got back to work to my surprise I received a whole chicken with a side of pico degallo. Not what I ordered but wow, that’s some good chicken. Will go back again when I’m craving something unexpected and delicious.
