Stumbled on this sweet spot on our way out of Old Town today. In need of a quick dessert for a dinner party invitation tonight, we grabbed a couple plain cheesecake slices (to go with the fresh strawberries from the farmers market) and got a few cupcake truffles for the ride home...absolutely delicious! The cheesecake was probably the best I've had and was a hit with everyone. The truffles were a perfect size to curb the sweet tooth. The lemon and peanutbutter are amazing!! Will make this a post farmers market stop each time now.

The cute pink truck caught my eye while at the 3rd of July fireworks. TallGirl and I looked at the menu, and both came to the same conclusion, " this looks like the best food here" & "we won't be satisfied with one." So, we got a six pack to share. And of course for the Yelpisphere.. it's all for the greater good. We picked out six and found a quiet place to go to town on them. First one TallGirl tried, I didn't even get a photo, she was all over the cupcake! She loooved it. Which is odd, cuz I am sweets lover. She had mowed down on the cookie dough. I had thought perhaps we'd share one, but the look of happiness in her eyes, and her body language (like hugging the cupcake and that look of .... you just try to get it), told me #1 it was amazing and #2 I better get my own cupcake. So, I tried my cookie dough cupcake. And TallGirl was right, it was damn good! Light, fluffy, moist, great crumb and excellent bake. The buttercream was stable, and in perfect proportions to the cupcake. My next up was brownie bomb (the monthly flavor). It was good, but it did rank #3 for me. Cuz peanut butter cup was phenomenal, get a dozen, write home to the family and tell your friends about it good!!! So, when you see the pink truck out at events, by all means go visit!! I personally thought the size of cupcake was just a tiny bit small. But, that's me. I am putting the shop on my "must visit" lists.

Just happened to find this gem by accident, but I'm so glad I did! Bought a cookie dough cupcake...the buttercream frosting was amazing!!!! Very fresh and tasty! Staff was super friendly and very patient with my million questions. As I was getting ready to leave, I saw a beautiful slice of cheese cake that I will be definitely coming back to try next time! Thank you!!!

I stopped by and picked up a cupcake for my nephew. When I unwrapped the liner for him, there was mold all over the bottom of the liner and cupcake. Unbelievable.

I 100% recommend this place!! First off, the ladies are super nice and helpful, second, their cupcakes are AMAZING!! They're so fresh and good!! And third, they do military discount! They are an amazing bakery and I'm so sad I just discovered them last week!!!

The pictures will come shortly! The cake was perfection. Not only did it look amazing, but it tasted even better. The cake flavor was lemon and let me tell you, it was so moist and rich with flavor! The cupcakes were amazing as well! The presentation and flavors were the best! I will say, normally I'm a Sprinkles gal but I am so glad we chose Lil Miss Short Cakes. Can't wait to use them for our next event!

Closed 40 min early. Says they close at 3:30 on Saturday. The gate was locked @2:50 when I tried to get stuff from them for the first time. :(
Really good, moist cupcakes in the most unexpected place. . . the first floor of what looks like a medical building. They are a little out of the way, but worth a stop in for a tasty treat. The frosting is just the right level of sweetness and the cakes are very moist and not dried out. Creative decorations on top. Everything is good, from start to finish. We tried a couple of different flavors and each one was tasty. Service was friendly and the shop has lots of seating.

Stop by today to try their cupcakes. From the moment I walked in the door it smelled amazing (I think they were baking brownies) The lady there welcomed me in and thanked me for coming in today. I told her it was my first time in and she quickly explained everything they offered and explained pricing. I decided to buy a 6 pack of cupcakes. I bought the salted caramel, carrot cake, cookie dough, chocolate, and birthday cake (they had cute names but can't remember them). I brought them home and cut them to share with the family to taste test. The taste test quickly turned into a brawl! They were so moist and delicious, we were quickly fighting for more. I would say birthday and cookie dough were the favorites. If I had to say anything negative at all is that they were out of the brownie cupcake that I really wanted to try. I definitely recommend this place and can't wait to go back to try new flavors.

Ordered 3 dozen cupcakes for a rehearsal lunch. We got the oatmeal cookie dough, raspberry cobbler and fudge pudge. All were so so yummy and received rave reviews from the guests. Easy to work with, they were ready at the time specified, and looked just as fantastic as they tasted!

Celebrated my birthday yesterday and my friend Mandi Naranjo surprises me with these beauties and they were by far the best cupcakes I have ever had. I'm a huge sweets person and have tried many bakeries from all over and these take the cake.
